Este ca ble solo funciona en un sentido. Es ideal para una pc o consola de juego. No lo recomiendo para un amplificador y tv con eARC.

Tried some other "4K" cables for long connection between AVR and 4k projector. In the age of 4K getting the right cable is the key to avoiding problems. The other cables I tried had problems. EDID errors / intermitent image blanking. After much frustration I tried this Monoprice and it works flawlessly. Updated review-, after about 3 weeks of use the HDMI stopped working. I would no longer send the video/audio signal out my projector, but eARC audio was still being sent from projector back the AVR. I have no idea way. The cable had been installed for 2 weeks. I reached out to Mono Price support to see what they, but did not even get a response. Had to send the cable back.

I had an issue with glitching and freezing with a passive optical HDMI cable between my Sony TV (K65XR90) and Sony receiver (ANR-ST1000). These active optical monoprice cables did correct that problem and had a solid video signal eliminating the glitching and freezing. Unfortunately, audio was not transmitted from the TV back to the receiver. It did turn the receiver on and off so there was some transmission back to the receiver. I then connected another active optical HDMI cable that fixed the problem (Cable Matters Unidirectional Active 8K @60Hz Fiber Optic HDMI Cable 32.8 ft / 10m - Supporting 8K@60Hz 4K@120Hz HDR). I made no changes to the settings of the TV of receiver so I concluded it was the monoprice cables. If you don't need eARC, these are probably fine.

Worked great for about 3 weeks. Then I had the same issue others reported of the cable pooping out. No longer works. Reached out to Monoprice support for the supposed 1 year warranty on cables, and have been ghosted. Very disappointed at dropping the money for a quality cable to end up with garbage.
