Solid connectors, perfect for high-power setups
These SB50 connectors are exactly what I needed for a custom battery setup. The build quality is excellent — the housing feels durable, and the terminals fit snugly with 6 AWG wire. No play or looseness when snapped together. They handle power well with no noticeable heating under load. Great choice if you’re working with solar, RV, or portable power gear. The price was fair, and the pair came clean and ready to install.

be prepared to fight to get the pins to click
These things require significant force to assemble. Counterintuitively, it can help to get it part way assembled, plug it into another assembled plug, and then finish assembling. It can help slightly to try to scrape down the spring metal where it tries to cut into the crimp part of the pin as it's pushed in. They're also pretty darn tight once connected - I had to use a pipe wrench to get them apart (not willing to pull on the wires) - maybe they loosen up a little over time...It's possible my one-sided crimper made the pins slightly the wrong shape - maybe an all-around crimper would be a better option for these. Maybe there's a trick to it - maybe I was just doing it wrong. Good luck.5 stars overall because they won't come disconnected on their own. No chance. In a lot of applications involving these, that matters more than needing some ad-hoc tooling to get them assembled.

Good connectors - but be aware a “pair” is only a single connection
You may know already know this - I did not. Evidently, when they say “a pair” they mean enough for a single connection. These types of connectors don’t have male and female ends like other types of plugs, but if you use that analogy, what you will get is like getting 1 male and 1 female. I thought I was ordering a pair of males and a pair of females (enough to make a pair of connections)Why would I think this?Because not only does their description say “PAIR”, but their picture clearly shows FOUR PLUGS - enough to make a PAIR of connections. I deducted 1 star for this deception. Not a deal breaker for me but just want to alert others to what they will actually receive.

Good plugs, work as intended
I use these to hook up a portable electric winch to a deep cycle battery. They do the trick and make a solid connection.

High quality for the professional
If you use these, you will need a crimper to crimp the connectors to the wires. I have seen mechanical crimpers, but I chose a hydraulic crimper. These are rugged and strong. BEWARE! If you start with true Anderson plugs don't buy look alikes. I tried and bought 5. The imo's are good but the imo's and Andersons do not... Do not snap together. I also recommend some heat shrink to cover any bare wire not crimped and protected with the plug. Finally, these take some strength to snap together but I have never had one come apart when it wasn't supposed to.

Know you are buying just one Anderson Plug
looking at the picture and reading the description of this Anderson connector I thought I was ordering two complete Anderson connectors. The text description also indicates a PAIR which also led me to believe I was getting two. I like the product but the picture and text description should be updated to indicate you are ordering only ONE Anderson plug set.

There is no male or female to these. They interconnect
Very good connectors, some say they are hard to disconnect. I dont think so, good secure connection is what i wanted.
