works as intended. Make sure it is totally upside down when you use it. My guess, If people get it all over they place when filling the canister, the canister if probably full, doing it at an angle, or not pressing down enough. There may be a slight overflow at the end - hard to judge when the exact moment the canister is 100% full. Not butane fillers fault . Gets better with practice.
