To me when worn, it has a nice and pleasant scent, that has a vanilla birthday cake frosting smell. Light and not obnoxious.The feel once on your lips is not sticky or tacky. Some where between Aquaphor and Vaseline lip treatments, nice and glide-y.It's vegan - I'm not vegan but it's a nice product, no problem with that.In the pictures you can see my bare lip color and then how the product looks with a normal amount and then a more heavy handed application. All photos are taken in natural lighting sources.It comes packaged in a box, and the product is in a traditional lip gloss squeeze tube with round top.╰☆☆ 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕀 𝕕𝕚𝕕𝕟'𝕥 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 ☆☆╮So far no complaints I can think of.╰☆☆ ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕝𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 ☆☆╮Overall I really like the color, it's buildable but in my opinion you CAN put on too much and it just feels weird. If that's your jam, jam on. It just isn't for me. I like the amount of color payoff with a 'regular' amount of product. It gives a change to your lip color without having to be too crazy and worrying about an actual lipstick. This product DOES transfer when you drink from a cup or give a smooch, just keep that in mind. I would like to try other colors in this lip treatment.

I like the coverage of the product. It goes on smooth with the right amount of color. It is very moisturizing.

Despite being someone who doesn't wear makeup, I do occasionally enjoy wearing lip gloss, tinted balms, lip masks, etc. I've never tried Tower 28 products before but see people using them all over my social media and have heard nothing but good things about them. When I saw this LipSoftie Tinted Lip Treatment, I thought that it would be the perfect first product from Tower 28 for me to try.I ordered the "ube vanilla" scent which is a berry red shade. Now I've never had ube or smelled it before so I can't really say if this does smell like it. I do get the vanilla scent though and it is slightly different from other just straight vanilla scents. If I had to compare this scent to something, I would say it most resembles vanilla frosting or cupcakes to me. It does also have a slight playdoh scent to me as well which you would think would be gross but I actually find it kind of nostalgic.As for the color, I'll admit that after I ordered this balm I thought that I had made a huge mistake getting it. With me not being a makeup person, when I do wear lip products, I prefer to stick with colors that are closer to my natural lip shade or are subtle. I would never normally wear a red color as I think red lip products look terrible on me. I was absolutely prepared to hate this ube vanilla color but once I tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it looked great on me. If you only put this balm on lightly, the color is very subtle on the lips. It's a sheer berry color that just slightly darkens my natural lip color. This is a really versatile product since the color is also buildable. The more you put on the darker the color which makes it perfect for all types of people.The balm itself feels super moisturizing, isn't at all sticky and seems to stay in place well. As long as I don't eat or drink anything, the balm lasts quite a while. Now I've tried many balms over the years and normally I'm not a fan because in my experience, they've always left my lips feeling drier and in a worse state than before I used them. I'd put those various balms on and initially, they'd feel moisturizing but once they wore off, they'd leave my lips feeling drier. They always ended up causing this vicious cycle where I'd have to use more and more balm but the more that I did, the worse the dryness of my lips got. It wasn't until I bought my first lip mask and started using that like a balm that I stopped having dry lips. Now when I see products advertised as balms, I normally avoid them but I'm so glad that I gave this one a chance as it didn't leave my lips feeling dry after it wore off. If anything, I'd say this lip balm feels more like a lip mask than an actual balm which I love.Overall, I'm super pleased with this product. I will say though that I'm not thrilled about the price but considering that I'm only an occasional wearer of products like this, this balm should last me quite a while so it makes me feel like it's more worth it. I would definitely order this product again and wouldn't mind trying some of the other colors.

I've been a big fan of Tower28's face spray in the past, so when I saw they had lip items now, I knew I had to give it a go. When I saw the flavors, I knew it was meant to be haha. I'm a huge ube girl, like give me all the ube flavored things. I chose this color because I was kinda looking for that black honey kind of vibe. My lips are perpetually dehydrated too, so anything that can add some moisture is much appreciated. I figured if it can help bring some color to my face, and moisturize then it's the best of both worlds. This color looks really nice with my skin tone, and gives that extra oomph without looking like I'm wearing lipstick and no other makeup. The color is definitely buildable, just the more you put on, the heavier it's going to feel. It's not waxy like some glosses can be, and it never turned gritty on me which is one of my biggest pet peeves. I really like how this is a easy product and I don't really have to think about whether I'm applying right or if it'll look goopy on my lips.

I can’t stand tacky, gloppy lip gloss, so I was thrilled with the finish of this lip product. It’s much less of a traditional gloss and more of a moisturizer, which is exactly what I wanted. It’s just enough shine to look polished, and a feel of hydration that’s comfortable. I usually can’t wait to wipe off lip gloss, but with this one, I look forward to putting it on. The burgundy color is faint on me and not long lasting - I would have preferred more, but the shade itself is beautiful and the strong ube vanilla scent is sweet and delicious. It’s not cheap, but the ingredients feel high quality.
