LIVETARGET Bluegill Squarebill Shallow Dive2 3/4"

One of my favorite baits that is great for fishing shallower areas. I have caught a great number of quality fish on this after replacing the treble hooks with single in line hooks that are more durable, snag less, and keep fish hooked better. The tactic that has proven most useful for me is using a large capacity Abu Garcia C4 reel spooled with 40lb test Power Pro and letting out over a 100 yards and trolling this bait at a slow speed. This bait has been proven to be one of my best at catching larger bass.

I have both the natural and metallic finish of this lure and it almost always catches fish. I've caught Bass, Tilapia, Cichlids, and Gar with these lures.When nothing else is producing strikes, these do. They constantly and consistently work for me here in Florida.I reel & pause or use a moderate fast retrieve and the fish just pound this thing. I typically run a 7:1 reel with 15# braid and about 15in of Fluorocarbon as a leader.

Looks great, used it 2x with no luck yet. Only dives about 4 inches under the water, but im confident it will catch.

After seeing this lure online and looking at some reviews around the Internet, I decided to buy it to use on a spring fishing trip. I chose the metallic version hoping it would be more visible in unclear water or at night. I loved the lure upon opening it. It has a very detailed and realistic finish and nice rattle. On the fist night I used this lure on my trip, a 2ft northern pike struck it almost immediately. Then a few minutes later another 2ft pike struck hard. I was very impressed with the lure. Two pike on its first test is great!

Nice lure perfectly designed. I’m not sure if it will catch fish yet. Water has been so hot in the area they are barely biting since I bought them. So no catches on them yet but I’m sure they will work.

At the price these sell for, I was hesitated buying more than one to try. I wish I had bought more. They swim very well with minor tuning and look very real. I had bought these hoping to catch bass, but have caught many more pike than bass so far. Even with all the teeth pike have the finish holds up very well.Where ever bass or pike are feeding on bluegill, I'm sure this bait has its place.

I have this and alot of other live targets and this is one of 5 others that knock the crap out of them. Both largemouth and smallmouth bass.
