Fantastic Reformer
LOVE this reformer! I’ve been doing reformer Pilates for about 13 years in studios but the costs were starting to get out of my affordability range so during mid year sales hubby & I decided to invest in one for home. We spent several weeks comparing machines & landed on this one based on reviews and price. What cinched the deal for us was that the box & a jump board were included. It arrived within a week & came fully assembled aside from the straps & shoulder blocks (which slot in easily). No instructions really needed, we did do a quick YouTube on how to install the straps but that took three minutes. What I was not prepared for was the vault like packaging it came in. It looks like a coffin & was very heavy! Several tools & loss of skin on a few fingers later I was successful at opening it! The machine is heavy but hubby & I were able to get it up two flights of stairs without too much drama. It is a full size machine that does not fold down so obviously ensure you measure the space you want to live in before you purchase! Overall, I feel the quality of the machine is of a high standard. Its built well and everything feels very sturdy. The stitching & material on all the padded parts feel good. The padding on the foot bar is a little on the soft side compared to those in studio but so far it has not been an issue. The rolling mechanism for the reformer bed on ours has one little bump on it somewhere. We’re not able to get to it but you can feel it when you’re doing movements laying down & you can hear it, but we’ve had it for a bit over a month now & that has lessened a bit through use. It’s a little annoying but not enough to be distracting any more. Overall would highly recommend this machine for anybody who has done Pilates before & wishes to continue their progress at home.

Very nice reformer, and great value for the money!
I've been doing Pilates for about four years at a club. It was sometimes difficult to coordinate my availability with their class schedules, so I decided to take the plunge and buy a reformer for our home. My club used Balance Body reformers. The Faittd reformer quality is not quite at the BB level but is very good. The frame is sturdy, the bed slides very smoothly, and the springs provide many options for resistance. The straps and ropes are not the same quality as BB, but they are still fine. I got the tower, and I love it. The platform is very high quality and very sturdy. There are plenty of springs to enable any exercise. Overall, the fit and finish are the only difference. Some of the stitching is uneven in places, and some holes did not line up perfectly and required a bit of messaging to assemble. Overall, I'm thrilled with my reformer purchase. It allows me to work out on my own schedule, create my own workouts, and access instructional videos on YouTube. Considering I was paying $250/month for my club membership, the reformer will pay for itself in a year. Plus, other family members are also reaping the benefits of Pilates. I'm confident it's a wise investment.

Pleasantly Surprised—So Glad I Took the Risk
I was really nervous about buying this reformer since there weren’t many reviews, but I decided to take the gamble—and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been using it almost every day for the past 5 months and it’s been amazing. The reformer has everything I need, and the springs work perfectly—just as smooth and strong as the ones I’ve used on more expensive brands like Merrithew, Balanced Body, and Peak Pilates at the studios I used to go to. For the price, this reformer is honestly such a great value. I’m genuinely surprised (in the best way) and super pleased with the quality. I wanted to leave this review in case it helps someone else who’s on the fence like I was!

I’m obsessed
I have been using balanced body allegro reformer for Pilates for many years. I was worried how this would match up but it surpassed my hopes! It is smooth, quiet, well made and a great deal compared to the more expensive competitors. Leg bar is solid and adjusts easily, straps are well made soft fabric that seem to be durable. I train clients in my home and this is a fantastic addition to my fitness collection! Item arrived in a giant wooden crate with frame fully assembled. I was able to remove it from the crate and fit in down the stairs and finish assembly of the poles with pulley and straps. What a great product!!!!

Good quality, stands up to other reformers
I was a little nervous buying a brand I hadn’t heard of before but honestly it works great. It’s sturdy, it was easy to put together, and the customer service is fantastic. I had an issue with the headrest and was immediately sent a new one no questions asked, and it got here within a week so my business wasn’t affected. If you are on the fence, I say go for it. The only funky thing is there are no pegs behind the shoulder pads for the straps, and if the reformer is set up for a shorter person they get tight on the shoulder pads, but I don’t find it to be that bothersome. Works just as it should, I’ve been practicing and teaching for a decade and I notice no difference or depreciation of quality with other companies pieces I’m more used to.

Pilates Reformer
I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. I was looking for a studio quality reformer. I liked that I had the option of the metal as I felt over time it would hold up better than the wood. It came packaged very well. I was able to get it out of the crate using leverage and then roll to the room. There was minimal work in terms of putting it together. Basically, just putting the straps and things like that on. I am happy with my purchase; it is sturdy and moves smoothly. I am not strong enough yet to do everything, but I will be able to grow into it and that is something to look forward to.

Unable To Use Because It Broke
Updated review: I am reducing this to 2 stars. Although this product comes with a 1 year warranty, I have been waiting four weeks for a couple of screws and nuts for the pulley system. The reformer straps are unusable without this replacement part. I reached out to inquire about the status and was told it was stuck in customs. I then asked for the tracking info so I could follow along without asking every week. The seller told me they would get me the tracking info when the shipment was ready. I’m confused as to whether the part has been sent or not. Original review: I have had problems with my knees for years and stumbled upon Pilates as a form of rehabilitation. It’s the only thing that has brought long-term relief. Therefore, when my new home had space for a workout area, I wanted to get a reformer to use at my convenience. I would have liked a higher end model but needed to be conscious of my budget. I came across this product which was on sale for Black Friday and decided to take a chance. With the one-month shipping time, I was in the middle of moving when it arrived and had to put it in storage so I wasn’t able to assemble and use it right away. Fast forward to 2.5 months later and I’m disappointed because I haven’t been able to use it yet. The instructions were confusing and include steps that don’t actually need to be done. The steps that you DO need to follow to set it up aren’t clear and at times you’re guessing. Example: tie the rope in a tie. Looking at the pictures, I am assuming they meant a knot. We had a very hard time getting the rope pulley poles installed because the holes would not line up. It’s hard to see in the pictures but the plastic insert won’t sit flush against the carriage. If it does, we can’t get the holes to line up to insert the pin. There’s also no instructions for steps to make sure the ropes are the correct length for your size. Therefore for an amateur like me, I’m guessing at where I need to position and tie things off to make it work for my rehab. Based on the little bit of Pilates I’ve done, I pulled the ropes through the cams to where I think they should be. I’ll create another knot at this length. Picture included. But the worst part is getting through all this to a place where I was going to be able to use it regularly when something snapped and one of the ropes went slack. The pulley system popped off and the nuts came loose from the pulley bolts. Of course there is no wrench provided for nuts this small so I haven’t been able to fix this yet and my reformer is unusable until I do. I really hope I’m able to secure the pulley system; I’m probably going to remove one washer on each bolt (there are two per bolt for some reason) and hopefully that will keep it more secure. Lastly, I’ve not used a reformer that has two handles per rope so it’ll be an adjustment to get used to. They’re very comfortable and soft however.

Great Value for an At-Home Reformer: Sturdy, Easy Setup, and Half the Cost of Higher-End Models
I was considering the Balanced Body Allegro 2 with leg extenders, jump board, and box ($5,500), but ultimately chose this one during a sale for less than half the cost. It came with both the box and jump board, making it a great value. It was almost $1800 when I bought it. Overall, I’m very happy with it—it’s extremely sturdy. My only small gripe is that it doesn’t have separate pegs for the straps, but I added some DIY hooks, and they work perfectly. For reference, the Allegro 2 also doesn’t have separate pegs, so that upgrade wouldn’t have solved the issue either. Also the shoulder pegs get loose/wobbly after 2-3 work outs and I have to tighten more than I would like, but still not worth $2-3k more in cost. It was pretty much put together when it arrived just had to pop on the springs and run the straps through the holder. Pleasantly surprised. If budget weren’t a concern, I’d recommend the Balanced Body. But as my first at-home reformer—and since I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it—it’s been a fantastic option. I’m using it 3-4 times a week and much happier than sitting on the Club Pilates waitlist!
