This is the right gasket for the Fissler 5 Qt. Pressure Cooker I have. The one I replaced had become thick through use, pointing out the necessity of replacing them when needed. It had become difficult to close the lid. I love this pressure cooker and plan to have it for decades to come so replacing the gasket is good maintenance strategy so the pot works properly.

Fit well.

Unlike other brands, the Fissler gaskets have almost no odor, even at first use. They hold up well and tend to last longer than the manufacturer recommends; however, I have found that replacing them on or close to the manufacturer's schedule tends to make the pressure cooker work a little more efficiently.

This is a factory correct reply. I have purchase these a couple of times. It's good to have a spare on hand.

Possible reason is wrong asin tag that clearly states the smaller 8.7 inch but the actual item received is the larger 10 + inch one (26 cm).

Ordered 2 of these to replace the old gaskets on our 2.6 quart and 6.3 quart VITAQUICK pressure cookers (they use the same size and style lids). I do not own a Vitavit pressure cooker so I do not know if these rings fit that model. Otherwise, these are OEM rings that hold up well.

My original ring has this code inside it : 600-300-00-205. I hesitated in the beginning because the code in the title is not the same. This is also the case in the orginal Fissler website. However, this ring also had the same inner code, which fits perfectly fine. Well packed, appears to be original.
