The product is super. It is made up of plastic but has a design that does not matter if it is scratched. It has a good writing and reading speed it depends on the hard disk that you had installed on it. but the code wire is very thick. it can be used on TV and Mobile no problem at all.No heating problem at all you can buy it for ₹599 in salei would say that it is the best option to reuse your old HDD or SDD disk and YES it does the job.

This is a good product. I am using this since 1 year and the quality is not bad and working fine for me. And also recommended for others

Initial review after a couple of days:Installing is easy, slide open the flap, insert disk, close flap.Tested with SSD and HDD, mostly on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04.5).For SSD can use the provided grip pad, not required for HDD.Feels well built and sturdy.Ordered from Orico Direct Store, slightly costly but needed for warranty.Will update if any issue found. Overall 4.5/5.

Don't Fall for this one. They advertised as UASP technology with this Encloser but it is nothing like that it is just a usual HDD Encloser. You may get another Encloser if you want to save money a bit. I bout it for 600rs. And thought it would have UASP technology but it's not. No w about the product. Everything was fine ,it worked very well with my 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD with 128mb cache memory. Transfer speed was consistent, 39-40mbps with USB 3.0 port on my laptop. Everything is fine but I wanted UASP technology. They are just advertising it so beware guys. They also advertised as metal coating but it is totally made of plastic which is quite durable and feels solid. The cable is alse good. Lastly I would say go with Encloser priced under 500rs. With USB 3.0 controller. This one is priced 100rs. more. You can atleast save 100rs. And use that 100rs. For other purpose. You can even take this one also but I'm telling again there is no UASP technology.

Great product....simply aweslme in one word. I have Toshiba 1 TB internal hard disk. Basically it was useless when I installed a ssd harddrive to my laptop bcoz it became very slow. But now I use this drive with the help of this product. Now it is just like a new 1 TB external harddrive...read and write speed approximately 120 MB/s. Simply superb. Totally value for money...I recommend this product who want to use their internal harddrive as an external harddrive.

Easy to use. Just put your external hard disk and use it within secs. Finishing not that great. Seems a little light quality, but works well. 1 star less since the wire is a little loose at the connecting end.

This is a good caddy! There is nothing more to it. It's a simple casing, and it does its job perfectly. I use it on my Macbook as an external backup HD.

The media could not be loaded. Not good product overall

This is a great enclosure. It looks nice and it's easy to install the drive. Once that's done it's ready to go, and it works very well. The activity light is a plus, as well. My only real complaint is that there is nothing with which to hold the drive tightly into the connector at the end. With other enclosures I've tried there has been a small, firm piece of foam at the end opposite the drive connection. This keeps the drive "pushed" snugly into the connector at the other end. Then, of course, you can use the foam that comes with the kit to keep the drive from moving up and down within the case. I used the thick piece, and I attached it to the top face of the drive itself. I had to use a credit card to hold the foam down as I was sliding the cover back on so that the cover clip didn't catch and tear the foam, but it worked well, and the drive is snugly in place. I worry a little about heat, but it should be fine.For the issue I mentioned, I used a piece of foam weatherstripping, cut to size. The sticky side to the plastic of the case, of course, and it holds the drive firmly forward and into the connector. The space is about 1/8", which is enough that the drive would wiggle out of the connector, and this firm foam will keep it from doing so.Overall, this is a very good enclosure, and to be able to turn an unused drive into a usable one for such a small price is very nice. I would definitely recommend this case to others, with the added caveat to be careful about the 1/8' space at the end of the drive.

It works, it is completely minimalist, requires no tools, it runs off the laptop power. No screws. No lights.
