It's been a year since I reviewed this handgrip (in Aug 2024, see below), and here's an update. It is still working well, and I'm genuinely happy with it. The rubber grip has worn down a bit more with constant use, as can be expected, but otherwise it's in fine shape. I'd recommend this to anyone, especially older persons like me, as a strong grip is a significant indicator of general good health and longevity. Your grip strength weakens with age, and you'll be grateful for a good, firm grip when you carry shopping bags or luggage, or pick up anything heavy. For those who work out in the gym, you'll notice that -- when doing pull-ups or deadlifts or any exercise that requires a strong grip -- long before your arm or back muscles are fatigued, it's your grip that fails. I'm told hand grip exercises are also useful for those with arthritis or carpal tunnel issues, but check with your doctor first if this gadget will work for you. However, I am fairly convinced that if you use the handgrip regularly, you will very probably avoid having such issues in the first place. And it really is a steal at the price. (Original review, 22 Aug 2024): So this is my sixth or seventh handgrip since 2019. This one's two years old (you can see the wear & tear on the handle), and it's very durable. The spring on the last one (same make, different brand name, I think), broke after a year. This hand grip has very few moving parts, and it's usually the spring that breaks. But otherwise it fits well in the hand, and really helps to develop your grip strength.

Spring broken after few months

This is a one strong hand gripper and for beginners it is just good to start off. Enjoying the usage, initially had trouble adjusting to the rubber grip. The friction initially caused during early days causes some skin tear in your palm but you get used to it as you grow stronger. But it is easy to use. Wind one direction for increasing pressure and other way to reduce pressure. The plastic is just okay and not great but would say value for money. Build looks okay, and recommended for beginners. After three weeks of usage I already feel stronger. Cheers!!

A great beginner product, maybe even for advanced users, although I wouldn't really be able to vouch for the latter part. But its of fairly good quality and gets the job done for me. Pros: good quality material, hasn't presented any problem so far. Size of the product is okay too since it fits snugly into my hand and has no problem Cons: The weight scale is a little awkward and I have to sometimes run a little bit of quick maths to really know what weight i am at
