Fusion Proglide Razor for Men with styling back blade for Perfect Shave and Beard Shape

The Razor blade used by me in chronological order: (1) Gillette Vector Plus:- I have very sensitive skin, due to which the Double edge safety razor used to give me lots of nicks and cuts while shaving. Gillete vector plus got rid of that problem, plus it was way cheaper. (2) Gillette Fusion:- I received the free sample of Gillete Fusion Razor, before it was launched in INDIA. The free sample blade quality was Excellent!! One blade lasted for 6 Months in total. However, I never got the same performance from the cartridges, which I bought from the Shop, Mall and e-commerce website. One Blade use to last only 2 months. (3) Gillette Fusion Proglide Power:- I bought 2 pair of Proglide Razors, cause I thought maybe the first razor was not genuine, as it was made in China. Considering the cost, quality of the blade was not that good. The blade lasted only one month on both occasions. (4) Mach 3:- Average Quality. It is relatively inexpensive tho. (5) Mach 3 Sensitive:- Average Quality. (6) Mach 3 Turbo:- I never used it. However, I know that the blade is similar to Mach 3. The only difference is, it was having bit heavy metal handle. (7) Mach 3 Turbo New Look:- Wow!! Good quality blade. It matches the quality of free sample Fusion Razor. It is definitely better than the Proglide and normal Fusion blade. The downside is the blade last only one month and it also required 2 cycles to get clean shave. I would say it was good value for money. (8) Gillette Flexball Fusion Proglide:- I am deliriously happy after using this Razor. Splendid!! Quality of blade. It is even better than Fusion free sample, cause now I have extremely thick and dense beard, but still got clean shave in just one round or rather one stroke. Price is also less. There are some other points which differentiate it from other Gillete Razors apart from the blade quality i.e. ' Precision Trimmer is sharp, whereas on Fusion and Proglide it was useless. ' It is easy to shave hard to reach places. I don't know how that happens, whether it is cause of Flexball or blade. It is hard to confirm that, but it does reduce the time taken for shaving----Flexball Proof ' Less effort! Which makes shaving experience enjoyable! --Flexball Proof ' No need to shave in the opposite direction----Flexball Proof ' No need to make faces to stretch and tighten the skin--- Flexball Proof ' Absolutely clean shave. I never knew before that my skin so smooth LOL!--Flexball Proof ' Lubricant seems different. It is also quite stiff. Now coming to Flexball technology, at first even I thought that it is a marketing gimmick, cause the movement of the blade is not visible. However, the flexball proof points mentioned above made me think otherwise. The blade moves slowly and gently enough to create a force which removes hairs from hard to reach places. So smart and thoughtful. I am so totally amazed!! It is indeed an engineering marvel! Whoever invented the Flexball technology, I salute! To those people. Cons: 1. We won't get it in original packing. There is no hard case provided to keep the razor. Even the case at the back to keep the catridges is missing. 2. Being a Trial pack, we're supposed to get it for free. o One common benefit that all Gillette Razors have is it doesn't gives you burning sensation, unless the blade is old. That is why I have never used After Shave lotion. On the contrary, whenever I go to the barber shop. I always get the unbearable burning sensation (sensitive skin). Conclusion:- ' Less or dense Thin and Soft Hair: You guys are lucky! I mean any Gillete Razor will work for you. In fact, you will not notice much of a difference in the performance of any of those Razor mentioned above. I would suggest you to use Mach 3 Turbo New Look and save some bucks without compromising the comfort level. ' Dense Thick and Strong Hair: For us Gillette Flexball Proglide Razor is a Godsend! gift. I was just about to switch to Electric Shaver. Thank god! This razor save my money. I have experimented with the lot of Razors just to get the optimum performance. This Razor provides best possible shave as compare to any other Gillette model. I don't mind the cons, cause for me performance of the blade is important in which it excel. The only thing left is how long it will last. Let's see.............

Excellent Product

The product is nice as I have used Gillette products for years including my first-ever shave. My expectation with Gillette is always Value for Money performance. However, the Aloe Vera Strip needs to go. There needs to be recycling initiative by Gillette whereby Consumers could send or Gillette could partner with a TP SP to collect the used products for recycling and,or reforging. Also, need a new redesigned Ergonomic product with 3-5 blades that do the job.

Best razor to have a clean and smooth shave. Also post shave it leaves a soft skin with it glycerin strip on top of razor. I use the precision blade for that extra smooth removal of tiny hairs in the difficult spot.

I bought this for Rs 423/- (Razor & 1 attached blade) and following are my observations. I got a pack which had no seal and was open plus it said "trial pack" on the pack (Refer to attached picture). (SELLER - COSMIXSTORES). However the review & rating is for the product in general and not the particular one i received. Was using MACH 3 for the last 12-13 years and honestly didn't have any issues with it. Just got bored looking at the same handle everyday so upgraded!! Pros: - Undoubtedly it gives a better shave than Mach 3 and much smoother. - Flexball is just a sale gimmick is my opinion. Yes the blade tilts at the contours to give a better shave theoritically. - The lubra strip is much improved. - The razor feels a bit heavy to my liking. Can be a con for some. - The grip has certainly improved from the older generations. - Blade back has a precision trimmer which i have never used honestly. - All fusion series blades will fit. Cons: - Pack has no holder for the razor unlike MACH 3 which i had bought all those years back. Cpl of more pointers: - Keep the blade dry after use. Wipe it with a thick cloth so the blades last much longer. - Was wondering how to remove the blade. Just press the orange flexball round thing. VERDICT - A good refreshing change with some subtle improvements. It's good to see Gillette constantly evolving despite being comfortably at top.
