Excellent secondary monitor after 7 months of daily use — reliable, solid, and better than expected
January 2026 Update after 7 months of real-world use I originally bought this monitor as a secondary side display for static documents and reference material while doing my main work on a larger monitor. The nearly square size was exactly what I wanted, and since it was under $100, my expectations were modest. I also wasn’t even sure I’d keep it. Seven months later, I’m genuinely impressed. What I use it for • Static documents and reference material • Side-by-side multitasking with a larger main monitor • Unlocking a computer that runs in clamshell mode Playing media Staying clam with Marine Aquarium running between tasks Touchscreen: unexpectedly useful I didn’t buy this monitor for the touchscreen and assumed it would be more of a novelty. In practice, it has become genuinely useful. When working with two monitors, there are moments when using a mouse feels inefficient, and simply reaching over and tapping the secondary screen is faster and more intuitive. It has been especially handy for unlocking a clamshell-mode computer, since the surprise on-screen keyboard appears when needed (!) and everything can be handled directly from this display. Motion, color, and real-world visuals (my limited but honest use case) Some people are understandably particular about resolution, motion smoothness, and color performance. My primary work on this monitor is static, but I do use it for one visually rich purpose: a marine aquarium screensaver. While I’m working on my main monitor, I often keep the aquarium running on this display. The colors are lovely, shadows look real, the motion of the fish is smooth and natural, and the 3D depth effect looks surprisingly real for a screen this size. I can glance over at it while working and feel a bit more relaxed, then wake the monitor instantly with a touch or mouse click when I need it to return to work duties. This is my only use case involving motion and color, so I can’t speak broadly to gaming or video editing. What I can say is that for this kind of animated, colorful content, it looks beautiful and performs reliably. Build quality & reliability (this is where it really stands out) The price may be budget-friendly, but this monitor does not feel like a budget item. After seven months of heavy, real-world use, it functions exactly as it did on day one. It has never flickered, never blinked, never glitched, and never failed to wake up. I’ve never had to reseat cables, wiggle connections, or troubleshoot anything — it simply works, every single time. In fact, it has been more reliable than the built-in screen on my Mac. That may sound surprising, but it’s true. It reminds me of a time when buying electronics came with the expectation that they would do exactly what the specifications promised — consistently and without drama. This monitor does precisely that. About specs and controls I’ve seen some comments about resolution options or missing physical controls. My view is simple: if the published specs meet your needs, you can be confident this monitor will do exactly what those specs state — and do it very well and very reliably. One minor downside The screen is glossy, so reflections can be noticeable depending on lighting. In my case, this was easily resolved by slightly adjusting the angle of the screen, which eliminated any distracting reflections during normal use. Bottom line As a secondary monitor, this has exceeded my expectations. It feels solid, dependable, and thoughtfully built. If I had room on my desk, I would absolutely buy a second one. ———————- Initial review, June 2025 This company was unfamiliar to me, and the low price made me hesitant—but the monitor works just fine. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. As others have noted, it has a very glossy screen, and the power cord is hardwired—both true and worth considering, but I'm just using an extension cord and might buy basic anti-glare matte film. But what really stood out to me (in a bad way) were the written instructions. They’re filled with language errors to the point of being difficult to understand. I don't mean bad writing like bad technical writing that we often experience, I mean that the use of English is deplorable. To the manufacturer: This matters. Clear directions communicate attention to detail and respect for your customers. It’s not difficult to run a basic translation through Google and have a native speaker polish it. This would go a long way in building trust and credibility. That said, the monitor itself is solid. A simple fix to the documentation would elevate the whole experience.

Nice touch screen monitor
Great touch screen monitor! The display is clear and responsive, and the 10-point touch works smoothly. It was easy to set up with HDMI and Type B ports. Perfect size for my POS system and fits well with the VESA wall mount. Very satisfied with the quality and performance!

Meh ... It's being returned. Very dim. Cannot adjust brightness. No drivers available.
There are better options on Amazon! I'm returning this monitor. I'm having issues with the brightness. The display is very dim and I cannot adjust it. I use the physical buttons on the display and have the brightness set to 100 but it's still very dim. I cannot update the brightness on Windows or Linux or MacOS because I cannot find any drivers anywhere online for this specific monitor for any of those operating systems. I contacted Support. Never heard back. Very disappointing. See my attached video.

Way Better Than I Expected!
Honestly, this touchscreen monitor is way better than I expected for the price. The touch response is super accurate and sensitive — it picks up every tap and swipe with no lag. The screen looks sharp, and everything works right out of the box. The build quality isn’t amazing — about what you’d expect from an off-brand monitor — but it’s absolutely fine for everyday use. For the price, it’s an excellent value and definitely worth it. I’m really happy with this purchase!

Does What it Says for a Great Price
The touchscreen display and display only went out on a Point of Sale device. Rather than spend thousands (yes, thousands) replacing the entire dedicated point of sale, I found this unit that had what I needed: touchscreen inputs and a classic VGA video in. We're up and running for a tiny fraction of what we otherwise would have had pay for a solution. The device is as flimsy, chintzy, and wobbly as you'd imagine at the price. However, if you need a decent size, reasonable resolution touch screen monitor that will work with older as well as newer hardware that isn't priced like it's a boutique item, this is your solution.

Beautiful color really fast reaction time
Well, takes a short time for it to match your system and start working. But it's an excellent monitor with wonderful image and color and it's much nicer to be able to point your finger and move something than to have to grab the damn mouse all the time

Great monitor!!
The 17 in.² monitor is exactly what I needed for my studies. It is sturdy and stands very well on my desk. I use my laptop to project the screen onto the 17 inch monitor. It’s a big screen and makes my work easier. I recommend it.
