This Cal Mag formula is the best. I've worked in health food stores for years and I hate Cal Mag products. Almost all the supplement companies have been bought out by pharma companies now, so Global Healing still has the best integrity with their supplements. When I tried this, within a week my nails were so rock hard and I know it works better than any other Cal Mag I've ever seen. Highly recommend this!!!! I also take their detoxadine and zinc, and their b12 is the best too. Great formulas all around!

I have been taking calcium supplements for the last 18 years. I cheeped out for a long time and used calcium carbonate because at the time nobody realized how much it can build up in your arteries. For years now I have used a product with four types of calcium, primarily citrate. I have very bad restless leg syndrome and take a parkinson's medicine to allow me to sleep at night. I have also been getting seriously bad foot and leg cramps that often would have me getting out of bed to try and stretch them out. They would hit me all the time during the day, too. I walk and exercise a good deal but also do serious stretching. Tried to increase my magnesium with a small amount extra and would always have bathroom issues with it and would be told I apparently already had enough magnenium. Then I started hearing ads about better absorbable kinds of cal/mag products and decided to look around. Particularly since I have a nervous system disorder and osteoporosis. if I really wasn't absorbing much of my current product maybe something else would actually help. I have to say that this product has significantly reduced my daytime restless leg syndrome to almost nothing but I still take meds at night for it, my body feels much calmer and relaxed, I have had no leg or foot cramps at all in the last two weeks, and I SLEEP SO MUCH BETTER. This is the best sleep I have ever gotten in my life and I am a very poor sleeper in general. I am hoping now that I am taking this in conjunction with my weight bearing exercises I really will have an impact on my osteoporosis as asthma and blood pressure drugs are working against me in that regard and I want to avoid taking Allendronate at all costs if I can. You have to take six a day, it gets expensive, but I know for a fact it is getting into my system. I am only giving it a four because of the cost and number of pills but the product is wonderful.

I take a lot of supplements and I’m confident this one is another great one for my health.

My nutritionist recommended this brand and this particular kind of magnesium and calcium. She said more of it was absorbed whereas the magnesium I had been taking was about 4% absorbed. I need to take calcium and magnesium due to ostopenia and long term use of diurectics, respectively. This is an expensive supplement but I decided to try it for a year and then reassess.

I have tried several types of CalMag products and this one by far is right for me. I highly recommend this product.
