Seiko SNKP 23
Absolutely beautiful watch in excellent condition, I have had the strap changed to black leather with blue stitching to match the watch face, well chuffed with it :) :)

Beautiful watch.
A gift for someone. They loved it!

Recraft series, not Swiss, the movement is made in Malaysia.
A product that always looks better in reality than pictures :) Japanese is the new swiss, great quality for a great price. Recommend a brown 21mm leather strap, looks better.

Doing the Seiko Shuffle Yet Again
This is a lovely looking watch, you really need natural light and sunlight especially to show it off to it's best but the blue colour and the sunburst effect comes alive outdoors in good light. This has Seikos trusty and time tested but admittedly dated 7S26 movement so fully automatic only no hand winding or hacking but you know it's going to be accurate and reliable. Also Seikos proprietary hardlex mineral crystal no sapphire so it will scratch if you are careless. It comes on a nice steel strap but I swapped it out for leather, Seiko usually skimp on the strap but the supplied one is fine and suits the watch. It's a chunky watch with a lot of wrist presence but not neccesarily the heft you would think would accompany a watch of this size so it does not feel top heavy when worn, I only have 6 3/4" wrists and it looks fine on them. I would recommend this watch as it's something a little different, Seikos Recraft series and Orients Neo 70's tribute to days long gone makes for some visually stunning watches and something just a little bit special. Buyers in the UK especially are going to struggle to find this anywhere cheaper than this Amazon seller - I tried. Four stars only purely because Seiko should really be offering hand winding and if this came with an NH36 movement it would be perfect, the totally flat crystal means sapphire could have been added at not much more expense and also oddly there is no lume whatsoever, there are small pips that could easily have been done in lume but for some strange reason were not but that's Seiko being Seiko.

Decent package , but could've been 30 or 40 dollars cheaper for the specs!
Good looking watch! , For the money they could've had an NH35 in it to be honest, and also it looks quite big despite the measurements, also I thing smaller lug with , 20 mm would've made it look smaller!

Beautiful design.
Excellent retro watch, solid looking band, remind me of space invaders, very 80's, the distortions in the crystal are fantastic, I love the illusion of crenellations. The sweeping orange seconds hand is so bold and contrasts so well with both the blue inner dial and the black outer visage. The white flashes on the polished stainless hands are a classic and as the minute hand sweeps, line up perfectly with the polished bars on the outer face, whilst covering the white dots on the inner, optically the outer bar extends as does the dot, becoming the white bar. Lovely watch.

Je ne suis pas déçu de cet achat, elle fonctionne parfaitement.

Lovely dial, square face stands out from the crowd, is a mechanical automatic movement with no manual wind, bargain for the price Seiko mechanical for quartz price Indents really catch the light, come in a nice presentation box

I reviewed this watch, one year ago (January 2020) and it was not a good watch until I tuned it up. And no customer should have to do this with a new watch buy I suspect the original watch was a returned one. The original review is posted below. However, I purchased another one (Seiko SNKP23) in January 2021 and this is my new review with photos posted on a time graph device. The new one was delivered with all the factory protective plastics and tags attached, something the original purchase lacked. The movement this time is "gold". I posted photos with the watch face up, upside down, and crown down and the results were outstanding (-1 sec to +2 sec per day) My Swiss watches don't even reach such accuracy. The only downside is the lack of hacking and hand-winding. But I can live with that. This new batch of watches must have been put together by some very experienced and talented crafts people. Hope you guys get results like mine. Below is the old review: This Seiko Recraft with Blue dial and stainless steel band is a beautiful retro piece. I will give it 1 star for that. This particular watch I received was running EXTREMELY fast. How fast? I timed it at 10 seconds per minute fast when the crown is face down. In an attempt to remedy this beauty, I demagnetized the watch because a magnetized watch can run very fast. The timing has improved now but still not good enough. Most of the time, my watch will be crown down, like when I am walking with my left hand by my side. At my desk when my left hand rests on the desktop, the timing is excellent now- this is the face up position. Overall, timing is too variable. Keep in mind that I was not expecting a COSC certified watch and I know what I was buying. But the timing accuracy is just too variable and extreme. Conclusion: This Seiko 7S26 movement in this watch is mediocre at best. This movement has no hand-winding and no hacking ability. In this experience, the watch runs too fast and as a result, it is not reliable. I also want to mention that the watch I received had no protective clear wrap on it and it did have minor scuffs on the polished stainless steel case. These scuffs can be polished out with a little wax polish, but a buyer of a "new" watch should not have to do this. With some TLC, this watch should be fine but only if the owner knows how to regulate and tune-up this model, or is it just this particular watch???? And did I receive a "lemon"? Buyer beware.
