Fisher-Price Mega Bloks Big Building Bag, Multicolor

Got it at a good deal. It includes 80 mega blacks. The blocks are sturdy. Initially got it for my one year old. She used to hold the blocks in hand and put in mouth but never played with them much. When she grew up to be 3 years old she actually started building towers and other things out of it. I have also bought the fisherprice blocks with wheels, so she normally combines with them and makes cars and trains and movable things. Pros: The quality is really good and very durable. The blocks are big enough and hence no choking hazard for kids It is nice for Ur little one who is just learning how to build with his own two hands. It helps them stimulate their imagination and learning skills while encouraging discovery, fine motor skills and open-ended play. It includes a storage bag to keep all of the pieces securely in one place and comes with a hand-strap that makes carrying the blocks easy. My kid plays with it, and then has learnt to keep them back in the bag, even after 4 years all the blocks are intact and now my second baby is playing with then. It is a perfect gift for a one year old and I have bought some to present friends as well when I got it at a deal of ₹700

With that in mind, I went shopping for a lego-esque building block set. On a trip to a Landmark outlet, I came across this product. It is made by Fischer price which is a well known and reputed brand worldwide. There are multiple variants of this set, that come in pink, blue or multi-color combo.I got the Blue one, which actually has pieces of every elementary colour. __________ Packaging: ----------------- The item comes very well packaged in a decent size Amazon cardboard box containing air pockets to ensure safe transit. Inside you'll find the mega blocks bag which is a sturdy plastic bag that opens at the top via a circumferential zipper. To lift and carry the set, there is also a soft plastic handle at the top. The zipper, the handle as well as the bag are of good quality. ___________ The contents: -------------------- The bag contains 80 assorted building blocks, ranging from single 1x1 unit to 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x2 units etc. There is also a main base unit that can be used as foundation to build up modular structures. Well, after seeing my daughter play with this for many weeks now, I'm very happy to report that these are excellent blocks, designed impeccably. These are certified free from harmful chemicals or lead/other heavy metals - practically food grade. There is no smell, no residue, chips or flakes on the blocks. Each edge and angle has been rounded over with care, using precision manufacturing process. The material is a soft plastic, firm enough to retain shape, but soft enough to not damage her gums or skin. It is soft but strong, and I have inadvertently stepped on these blocks numerous times and realized that they have never cracked or broken. Also, unlike Legos (which I was initially considering), they are much larger and impossible to swallow/aspirate by mistake - much safer than the tiny lego pieces, in addition to being significantly cheaper. 5 star to quality and safety! Pros: - Build Quality is awesome - Colors are bright. Kids will enjoy it - As the name suggests, it is really MEGA BLOCK. No need to worry about choking hazard in small kids. Cons: - Heavily priced item - After usage of few times, grip between the blocks tends to loose.

Wonderful blocks, advertised as 80 pieces but i got +2 additional blocks! Primeday deal bonus? anyway the product delayed by one day but its ok at-least came intact so no issues. Pros: 1. High quality plastic, can bend a little to absorb the pressure by stepping on it but wont break thats how it feels anyway i tried it with my hand and it seems taking it, all blocks has enough grip to hold not too tight or lose just enough for kids. Each blocks has its own ''Mega Bloks'' name embossed on it. 2. As the name suggests its all mega sized blocks with no sharp or rough edges to be seen i have checked each every block and its all the same smooth finish, another main advantage of this mega blocks no need to worry of kids try to swallow it there is no way they can swallow may be they can try to chew it but given the plastic are of excellent quality so its a tension free toy. 3. Its colorful and came with good quality bag and a handle to carry. 4. For less than 1000/- (Deal) its worth the money paid, its designed and made in Canada not China! No cons as of now. Will update if anything so. --Highly Recommended-- better than small sized blocks.

Excellent Blocks ........... perfect sized ...... brightly coloured ..... very good quality. This is my 'Second Set' of the same blocks, the first one I purchased from shopping mall and my son loves it and he wanted to build more high rise buildings and and different models so he wanted more of these blocks .... so I placed order on amazon ........ and got my second Set of Mega Blocks with heavy discount and with in four days ... right before my son's birthday as I expected. And this set is having one four wheeled - attachable wheelbase to create cars and trucks of all colors and sizes which was not available in my first set, so my son is top of the world as both the set are compatible with all mega bloks first builders sets for endless building possibilities and now he busy for hours for play and building imaginations and his creativity is flourishing ......... and MOST IMPORTANT ........ he is no more glued to Television ......... These blocks are perfect for a 1.5 year old. It’s become my child’s favourite activity now. The bag looked a bit old though when I received it. I was glad that I did not buy it as a gift. But the blocks inside were fine so I did not return it. Have to mention that the blocks are very sturdy and durable. My kid throws them all over the place but they’re intact.

Bought it for my nephew last year. Its been more than an uear but he is still not over this. He can play with these alone on and on. Blocks are of very good quality, colour, mtrl and make is long lasting. Once he starts playing, he gets involve for good 2-3 hrs. Storage bag is equally good. Overall a must and an excellent buy.

The blocks are really good. But it's almost 15 rupees per block so considering it, it's a bit pricey. Packing was not as expected, the bag was torn and taped. Leaving that, the Bloks are big in size, apt for little ones. When compared to lego duplos they are not tight and sturdy enough after construction, but it's a great beginner level toy. Legos are highly priced too. If you are into just a few random level construction, this set will suffice. But, if you want to construct some meaningful stuff with it, and is going to spend a lot of time using this toy, buy two to three sets together for a fun experience. Do not buy the 12 piece set, rather buy this 80 piece set, since this 80 piece set has a decent ratio of big Bloks to small Bloks, in other sets, the small Bloks are more in number, which will be of no use.
