Totally Fishtastic!
The media could not be loaded. Tons of bubbles, quiet pump, and some cool fish colors. The LED lights do a great job lighting up the whole tank.As mentioned in its manual, the fish need to soak for a day before they really get moving up and down. They also gathered a lot of bubbles around their outsides during the first 24 hours. That said, they were still jumping around being silly and entertaining from the first moment, so it was no trouble for us!

Enjoyable to watch, but the fish float
The media could not be loaded. This bubble lamp is very cute. I love the options for colors and light brightness. There are 3 little plastic fishies that float around in the water. There is a remote to change the color/brightness level, and to turn off and on. I used distilled water to fill the lamp.I wish the fish were heavier. I have soaked them for a day, and washed them with soap as recommended in the instructions, but still they stay close to the top. It would be better if they could sink down to the bottom and ride the bubbles back up, but they mostly flop around at the top of the lamp. I wonder if I could find a way to add weight to them without weighing them down too much. (EDIT to add: After about 3 days of soaking and at least 2-3 washes in soapy water, the fish "swim" a lot better! The instructions say 24 hours, so be aware it might take days longer. Now they ride the bubbles up and sink down like they should, and we like watching them.)I am also concerned at how the lid secures to the top. This is advertised for kids, but the lid just pops on, rather than screwing on. If it were knocked over, I think it would pop off and spill very easily. That said, the material seems strong and I don't think the plastic will break easily.Overall, we enjoy this bubble lamp. With just a couple of improvements, it could be great.
