Yoofoss Baby Sleep Sack TOG 2.5

Very soft material and I appreciate the zipper from both ends. It had held up very well after using daily and washing frequently over the last few months. Keeps my daughter warm when the temperature drops to 65 in our house at night.

My baby kept waking up two to three times in the night almost every night as it has started getting cooler. I was so exhausted that I put her in bed with my husband and I but we both don’t really want that as we both sleep hard and a move a lot in our sleep. But she was sleeping solid when she was in bed with us and I realized that she wasn’t warm enough in her other sleep sack. Did some research and came across this sleep sack that was a TOG 2.5 as we keep our house around 67-68 degrees at night. I sized up (she was about to be 7 months old and I got the 12-18 month size) because I wanted this to last her a long time. When I received it I was shocked at how long it was! Haha but kids do grow. After the first wash it seemed to have shrank quit a bit. Fortunately I had sized up. She’s currently 7 months old and 27 inches long and it fits but I don’t know if it’ll really last her beyond 12 months. Fortunately this product isn’t over priced so it won’t be costly to buy the next size up when needed. But I was trying to avoid that. Overall, great product! Baby sleeps through the night now and doesn’t wake up all the time anymore! She stays warm and everyone in our house gets sleep. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I’m going to have to return this. I would have liked to keep it because I like the weight of this sleep sack but it smells SO horrible. Like it was dunked in a bucket of perfume. This is becoming a common problem with products from Amazon, sometimes I think it comes from the warehouse and whatever they spray for scents, or the product is sprayed directly from the company, but either way nobody wants their baby smelling like toxic perfume. In this case I could smell it through the packaging and the smell most definitely came from the product itself. I had to bag it back up until I can return it, it really is that bad. Fragrance can have tons of different ingredients and toxins in them and some people who are going to want to buy this because it’s organic cotton and they want to be conscious of the products they put on their baby are most definitely NOT going to want this. Save yourself the time and hassle of the return. Skip it!!

We started off with burts bees sleeping blankets. I found they really helped my toddler sleep, because he will just kick off any blanket you try to put on him. And he moves around a lot at night. But we live in colorado, and it can get drafty at night, especially in winter. So I ordered this one. Omgosh, it feels way higher quality for a similar price. I ordered one that was a little warmer, and the cotton is so soft, and the weight evenly distributed and quilted, so that the stuffing doesn't clump up if washed. Really love it. Will order more. Plus as a bonus, sweet colors available.

Edit: Just bought our 3rd set of these. Can’t beat the quality or price! Extremely happy. We’ve been using these everyday for a year and they’ve lasted great. Original post: I bought two of these for my twin grandsons. They have been using these every day for months and they still look great. I absolutely love them. They've soft and durable. I'm so pleased with these. I'm going to order two more in the larger size.
