Yogi Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life

As a youngster, I absolutely adore drinking green tea and this drink is especially a plus for me because of it's taste and smell. WHAT COLOR IS IT? >>> This tea IS NOT PURPLE. I've read other reviews stating that their tea came out purple with flecks of blueberry inside, well, I've not experienced any of that. The tea is the exact color pictured on the box, a light golden color with NO specks of blueberry inside. I don't even know how others managed to obtain "PURPLE TEA." It's so hard to believe, but if that's what you got then I honestly think something is wrong with your tea unless the box specifies otherwise. IS THERE ANY TRUE FLAVOR IN THE TEA? The tea has a nice and delicious flavor that I LOVE. Many say that the blueberry in the tea is hardly there and in my opinion, I disagree. There is a hint of blueberry in there, however, it is not as strong as you might think. It's very subtle in taste and when matched with green tea, it's going to be hard to bring out the blueberry flavor. Also, others have mentioned that the tea has no taste and some even say it's bitter. Honestly people, it's only a bag of herbs steeped in hot water so what do you expect? It's going to taste like water with only a small amount of flavor to taste. If you want more taste in your tea, simply add unrefined honey and/or sugar to your tea. You can also add a LITTLE squirt of lemon juice to bring out the flavors and I will assure you that the tea will taste much better. HOW DOES IT SMELL? The smell is AMAZING! When you first open the package, the sweet scent of green tea is the first thing you'll smell. This tells me from the start that this tea is meant to soothe your senses as you drink it simply to become more relaxed and comfortable with it. DOES IT REALLY MAKE YOU SLIM? This is the prized question that mostly everyone wonders about. Well, I'll explain this to you all so you can understand what this tea is. First of all, the tea is a slim life tea, not a burns fat and calories tea. The purpose of the tea is to help you maintain your weight once you maintain a healthy dieting and/or nutritious routine. It's not going to burn fat or calories. It even states all of this on the box itself. However, I've been exercising and eating healthier lately, and it truly surprised me when I lost 6 pounds in five weeks. It may not be much to you, but it sure is a lot for me and my body type. This is one of the main reasons why I'm so in love with this tea. I've lost weight with the help of this tea and a few other products which is awesome. HOW DO I FEEL ABOUT THIS TEA OVERALL? The tea is great!!! Everyone should try it especially since it's organic which is a definite plus. ANYTHING ELSE? The tea also has caffeine in it. It may not be as much as the amount found in coffee, however, it definitely is there as stated on the box. This tea is best used as a morning tea to boost your energy. If you use it at night, you won't be falling asleep anytime soon. Unfortunately, once your body is used to this tea, the energy boost will not be as grand as the first, so it'll be best for you to take it every other day. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE? I don’t like the taste of plain green tea but it has a lot of great health benefits. This says “slim” tea and I want to be clear my review has nothing to do with weight loss. I’m drinking the tea because of the benefits for lowering cholesterol. The flavor of this tea is really tasty.

It really does curb your appetite and it tastes delicious! I love that each tea bag is wrapped individually so I can bring them easily wherever I’m going.

My absolute favorite! I drink it daily, no sugar or sweetener needed! The perfect afternoon pick me up!

I have been a Yogi tea fan for many years now. These delicious medicinal teas almost always seem to do exactly what they say they will, and that makes them an excellent alternative to traditional western medicines. I use the teas for things like colds, upset stomach, stress and sleeplessness. The Blueberry Slim Life tea is incredibly tasty. It smells and tastes almost like a blueberry muffin to me. I am deducting one star simply because it is a very, very mild appetite suppressant. If I find myself really craving some bad-for-me munchie, then this tea isn't going to sufficiently squelch that desire. It does, however, work to prevent most extra between-meal snacking. UPDATE 08/11/2016: I have been using this tea for awhile now, off and on, and hadn't felt the effects of the cravings reduction until I began drinking it ICED! I don't know why, but I find it so much tastier when it is cold. The berry flavor is so enhanced and the cold drink is so refreshing that it's easy to sip on a few 20oz bottles while I work. This has led to me not dipping into the snack baskets at work, which is always a good thing! And basically all I do is fill a normal coffee cup with hot water and two tea bags, steep for 3 minutes, while steeping I fill my 20oz glass water bottle to the brim with ice, then when done steeping I pour the tea over the ice and it fits perfectly. And truly this is the tastiest drink ever and it's good for you at the same time! Love it and now I am getting it on Sub and Save for the fantastic deal! Highly recommended!

I drink this tea every day. I drink it hot at home but make it into iced tea for work. The flavor is really good and I never get tired of it. I guess the slimming part is drinking it hot and it makes you use the bathroom more like any beverage I guess. Personally for me, there is no slimming affect, I just like the taste.
