I bought this just to try a broad nibbed fountain pen. I wasn't expecting to like it; it is not the best looking pen either. At first it was a little annoying due to the squeaky sounds that emanated as I wrote (from the pen that is, not from me) but these disappeared before too long. Now (using cartridges rather than the fountain for consistency of line) it is a delight. Albeit an ugly delight. I have (too) many pens, a lot of which cost 10x this one (and more) but this is the one I reach for. Really was not expecting this to outperform Mont Blancs and Montegrappas, but it does.

The snap cap needs way too much pressure to put on or remove. I had ink shoot out from pulling the cap. It is a fingerprint magnet, but it looks great The rest of the pen is good enough. Comes with a good JoWo Medium nib, but not a JoWo feed. Slightly on the dry side because of the feed.

Just got the pen...ink flow is poor as compared to medium nib which i got 3 weeks back..built is poor as body gets tilted after u close it after filling ink

Absolutely stunning looking pen. Looks far better in person than in the pictures. Balanced weight and solid in the hand. Writes smooth and relatively consistent. Major issues for me have been hard starts and the paint chipping after only a few weeks. Sad for a pen that is so easy on the eyes.

Lovely pen and fantastic finish. Very smooth nib and writes great. The only problem I had was a damaged ink converter. Not a problem as I had a spare one and they are easily available. If anyone has the same issue I recommend a diplomat converter as these are quite robust. Do not let this put you off as in my opinion this is an outstanding pen and is better than some pens which cost twice as much.

great pen and all that, however does not accept a screwed converter and the regular converter does not stay, which i realized only as i watched destroy a shirt. so either use a cartridge, which too i am scared to use lest it come loose, or paper weight.
