Not what I expected. Pump motor would no run unless taped on. Solar system very sensitive and I live in very sunny Arizona 😡

Update: stopped working the same day we got it...and yes it was still in sun. UGGGGUsually don't have luck with solar things..bought this for my very tiny railing bird bath. It works very very good. Not really any set up except put the nozzle and top you choose on to base. My birdbath is about 5 inches deep in center so suction cups don't adhere...also no place to tie a string on it...so it floats and moves a little. No big deal.

Was ready to return the fountain because it would not work Then, my husband pushed it down and gently lifted it up and it immediately worked. So, looks like you must press down and then lift up gently. Now, works well.

Stopped working after a couple of weeks. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have been using this pump for a little over a week and I have not had problems with it. I have it in a bird bath that has a bowl that's 20 inches in diameter. I am not using the nozzle attachments because they push the water higher and wind blows the water around and some may escape the bowl.

This product is really well made, but it only works when the sun is directly overhead.
