Would recommend!
This is one of my favorites! The first five songs are really good, but the last six are just okay. Great price for a record.

Great vinyl pressing of a great album!
I'm a Coldplay fan and a vinyl fan! This is a solid pressing, 180 gram, no frills, side A and B. Plays excellently on my Pro-Ject RPM1 and Pro-Ject Essential turntable. In fact, this is my second copy as I keep one at home to play on my higher-quality turntables, and the other copy is the one that can travel with me with my portable turntables (please don't hate, pure audiophiles). Yes, I own one of those 'suitcase' type of portable turntables because I love playing vinyl so much and I love Coldplay. For anyone who feels may be similar to me in regards to vinyl and Coldplay, have fun and get 2 of them! Or hell, just get 1 copy and enjoy the hell out of it! Hope this review helps!

FOR COLDPLAY FANS, AN ABSOLUTE DREAM OF A LP. (4.4 stars)
I was blown away with Parachutes, and I didn't think I could be amazed again, but boy was I wrong. A Rush of Blood To The Head" is a record that in many cases surpasses the greatness of the debut. For one thing the band has matured a bit, but hasn't gone all stuffy. They are more aware of the subtle nature of the piano and emotionally grueling lyrics. The even more amazing thing is that they keep it from being a complete depressing wash of an album. One minute you'll think of loves past and how they were lost (The Scientist) then the next minute, your on to tales of joyous self content. (In My Place)The record gets even stronger with each listen. MUCH more so than Parachutes, which benefited from an instant catchyness. This disc has that quality too, but since the songs lean toward the deeper end of the spectrum, the rewards are longer lasting. There is an obvious influence this time around, and no, I'm not talking about Jeff Buckley or Radiohead. A Rush... reaks of mid period Bunnymen records. Echo and the Bunnymen have been touted as a major influence on Chris Martin and songs like Warning Sign and Amsterdam confirm it. Coldplay have the talent and accessability to appeal to a lot of people, yet the rock coolness to be your favorite band. This disc is going in my top ten of the year.

Wrong disc, right case. UPDATE: all resolved in quick and easy fashion
Album itself is great (listened to over Apple Music before) and I wanted to own it physically. Unfortunately the copy I received, while sealed and everything, contained the WRONG DISC, and case cracks lead me to think this was a repackaged used copy. I will be requesting a replacement in hopes I actually get the right disc this time. I will update my review accordingly at that point.Review Update: sent for replacement yesterday and it arrived today, very quickly, which I was appreciative of. This time everything was great, case didn’t look beat up, cd was correct. I definitely think the one I revived originally was a used case and disc marked and sealed as new, which is puzzling. All in all I am very happy with how this was handled and with the end result! Added 2 more pictures to show the difference in the replacement from the first 3 of the original recieved.
