The usual prescription to Boots for my wife resulted in the Vit D3 by a specific manufacturer was not available. The speed of this alternative was first class and the price excellent.

Although its likely I get enough Vitamin D from my diet and working outdoors year round, being a woman of a certain age, I thought it would be no bad thing to supplement my in take. According to the NHS 10 micrograms (1,000 IU) a day is enough for most people, so these fit the bill almost perfectly. Almost? Given the importance of taking Vit D and Vit K in combination, it seems a bit of an oversight that Vit K isn’t included in this preparation. So I’ve had to buy Vit K separately and will probably look to buy a brand that combines these two vitamins in future. Which is a shame, because this brand is inexpensive and highly palatable, having no distinct smell or taste, and being small in size is very easy to swallow. Can I feel the benefits? Not yet, but that’s normal given it takes time for supplementation to have an effect. It’s enough to know that I’m putting it into my body and plugging any potential gaps in my in take from other sources.

Good and easy to swallow.I have delayed reviewing this item since we were in the middle of summer and I did not need extra vitamin D3 but now when the days become darker, the vitamin D3 pills are a must.We all take them here in the house and because they are quite small, they are easy to swallow.The 1000 IU is a generous dose of vitamin D3.To make things better the pills are suitable for vegetarians and vegans being gelatine, lactose and dairy-free.

These tablets are very easy to swallow and are quite small. They are green in colour and have little taste so can just be taken with water.Good value for the quantity you get

1000 UI is not so much. My other tabs are 4000UI. Hence you'd need 4 of these per day...or one week's supply
