Worth the money!
This was so easy to put together. I am absolutely in love with this desk. Note that the top part of the desk that can hold a monitor does not attach to the main desk. They are 2 separate pieces. This is a really good quality desk that looks absolutely amazing. For the money it was worth getting, especially because it is big enough to hold two monitors but doesn’t take up a lot of space in my office space.

Great Value Desk
I picked this up for my son and we are both impressed with it. Although listed as a "gaming" desk it can really be toned down or dressed up as you need. The carbon fiber look of the wood is subtle and if you don't use the colored lights it doesn't necessarily give off a major gaming vibe. Of course, if that's what you want there are many color options with the supplied lights, and with your own equipment, it can look much more gamer-ready.The desk itself is sturdy and offers a left/right exchange for the cup and headset holder along with the plugs. Great versatility there. The cupholder itself is a bit on the cheap-looking side but you don't need to attach it. The holder for headphones is really convenient as is the ability to plug power and USB into the supplied flush-mounted power block. My only real complaint is with the monitor stand. My son is using a laptop and not separate monitors so this is not a big deal for him; however, the monitor shelf is free-standing. If you have the desk pushed up to a wall and use that for bracing, this can be fine. If the desk is not pushed up against the wall, the stand is not secured as you may want it. I wouldn't be thrilled to use it that way especially if you have multiple monitors. That is really the biggest issue in what is otherwise a really nice desk. The other note is that the button for the light indicates "speed" but it's really brightness. The lights do not blink.Assembly of the desk will take a good hour or more for a single person. It comes with all the tools necessary. Normally I toss those and use "real" ones but here I actually found both the screwdriver and the wrenches to be of better quality than is usually given with these pieces of furniture. They aren't making my toolkit, but for throwaway tools, these work really well.Overall I can definitely recommend this desk, especially at its current price of below $100. However, if you do require the monitor stand especially if for multiple monitors, you may want to check other options or consider how you might secure this one better.

Satisfying
I didn’t realize that this would not fit my laptop but it gives me the option to remove the mount for the display wich it expends the space for my laptop..

Ikea set up, simple desk
The desk works pretty well once set up. Though I do feel as though it is a little narrow at only about 20 inches of depth, for gaming this works well. However, I have been using it for other purposes, and I do wish that I had slightly more depth as it gets difficult to fit things like notebooks or food on the desk especially with the raised platform. I have removed the raised platform, which does not get attached to the desk, which has freed up some room. As far as the set up goes, it is not very hard, but there are instances in which the design doesn't allow for certain instructions. For example, it's not possible to insert the screws at the end of the desk at the end of the set up. This is not a huge deal as the desk stands without these, but I do with that the design was better to allow for these. Overall, the setup took me about an hour and a half, and I imagine that is about as long as it would take most people.

Caution.
This desk was good for about two months and then just collapsed and broke my son’s PS5… so, not thrilled with the purchase.

A very nice desk
The media could not be loaded. It is a very nice desk overall. It has a nice texture to the top of it and seems well made for the price range. However, there is a spot or two where there is already a nick in the finish with the natural wood color showing through. You can clean that up with a sharpie or something, but I imagine if you are rough with it or run into it a lot, that the desk will show its wear quickly. It was mostly easy to assemble. But... some of the bolts to attach the metal leg sections together really did not want to catch the threads and screw in. I think my frustration with that one particular part, happened once on each side, added about a half hour to the build.I went ahead and attached the included cupholder, but when I went to use it, I noticed a major design flaw. The bottom section is plastic and hinges off more plastic. It flexes easily with weight, and I do not feel safe putting any significant weight in it. Even a drinking glass with water was making me nervous. I just know that eventually it will fail and a drink will be all over my floor. Clearly they had some inclination about this when they designed it, because of the metal ring that supports the top. I just don't know why they didn't focus more on the weight bearing portion. The upper shelf is fully unattached from the rest of the desk, and it can handle 30 lbs of weight. I actually weighed my monitor and found it was about 28 lbs. I haven't noticed any bending or stressing with that weight, but again, I am nervous about how much weight it can actually handle. It does have a metal bar through it though, so that gives me more confidence. The light up LED strip was easy to install and looks really nice. You can plug it into one of the USB ports built into the desk. I keep it on all the time cycling through colors. It even works as a reasonable night light. It isn't a huge desk by any stretch. However, I manage to fit on it, my personal PC tower, the giant to me) monitor my employer gave me, two keyboards, two mice, my work laptop, notebooks, and a drink all at the same time. So, I'm very happy with it.Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. But, for $100 this is an excellent desk, and I would not dissuade anyone that is interested in purchasing it.
