These are not plug-in play do not be fooled
If you’ve read any of other reviews, you know that I’m pretty good with tools and don’t have many problems when it comes to electrical things. This was a challenge and I actually gave up. In the newer trucks, you cannot plug this into trailer lighting because it will start throwing up error codes on your dash. It thinks that you have a trailer hooked up, but cannot establish the correct connection. If you try to hardwire it into the Traylor connection it also does not work because somewhere along the line you’re interrupting a signal feed and it throws up error codes. Unless I am missing something, the only way to hook this up, is to run it up through your shaft and connect it directly to the wires that go to your brake lights. Which means removing your brake lights on the left and the right. For anybody that knows new cars that is not a simple project, especially on the suburban and the Tahoe. I did install them and they look much better than the typical red lights or reflectors, but for the money, I could’ve just taken a black spray and painted over the originals and it would be exactly the same. It would be really nice if the manufacturer put out a video showing you how to do it on a suburban or Tahoe otherwise don’t even think about it. I have also heard the same situation from the Chevy Silverado and GMC products. If you want to take it to a light technician to do it for you. They want to charge you 90 bucks per light so plan on paying another 180 bucks once you get them.

Misleading wire color diagram
So it says green wire but mine doesn’t even have a green it’s yellow, red, white, and black, also trying to find out which wires on 2024 Yukon to hard wire them into!

NOT FOR A 2024 TAHOE
The product was shiny and well made. The problem was that it was hard to install on my 2024 Tahoe. Removing the left and right taillights became a real headache. They need to incorporate it to the trailer wiring harness. I finally gave up and sending it back.
