Azelaic acid is by nature, a rapidly absorbed, somewhat drying product. Some complaints of product being “too thick,” etc., but this is the consistency of this acid. Other AA creams that slip and moisturize, have added ingredients. This is an excellent formulation of AS, no unwanted ingredients and the price is right. If I find it too drying, I just moisturize a few minutes after applying. The amount in the tube is standard. I have used this for years, most recently to clear up peri oral dermatitis. Plain and simple, it works!

As someone with sensitive skin who suffers from hormonal breakouts this is quite literally the only product that significantly reduces my post-blemish marks without irritating my skin. It also has made my skin look brighter and more healthy. For $12, I can’t recommend this product more. Make sure to moisturize/sunscreen after to protect your face and reduce dryness.

I bought this because I thought it would help with uneven skin tone but I don't have acne or pimples so I'm not sure it was the right purchase for me... anyway, I tried it about an hour ago. When I first put it on it did sting a little bit but quickly subsided. I was worried at first because I have very sensitive and reactive skin. But it quickly subsided and my skin feels fine.It did not pill on my skin like some other reviewers said. It does leave a matte finish and feel but seems to be soft on my skin, not drying. I wouldn't say it's moisturizing but it's not drying, either.I am not sure I would buy it again but I do love The Ordinary and will continue to buy their other products. I am just not sure this is the right product for my skin.

This stuff works wonders. I have sensitive skin so I only use a pea size amount for my entire face avoiding the under eye. I only use once a day in the morning after showering to avoid my skin from being over dry. I also apply atinted sunscreen after. Really good stuff, you can see it working within a day. Fantastic Product for the price.

I will purchase this to the end of time. Perfect addition to any skin care routine. Highly effective for me - evens skin tone and reduces dark marks. Absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth. Not oily at all.

I have rosacea, not severe but it’s noticable, and a friend recommended this. It works, feels a little dry when it goes on so make sure to moisturize after. I just wish it was a bigger size! This was the only size i can find anywhere. Not sticky, not scented, just works.

This stuff is a game changer for this 58 year old rosacea uneven textured skin. My skin on both sides of my mouth feels very rough sometimes, but when I use this daily my skin becomes so smooth that it literally scared me at first. There is no scent, only takes a little bit. It is not oily and rubs in completely and quickly. It’s a good value for the money as The Ordinary always is. It does not feel greasy. After you rub it in for a second you can’t even tell you put it on. This will always be in my skincare bag.

This felt great going on my skin nice and smooth wait an hour and it’s pilled over my face and neck - little white pills and didn’t really do anything for my skin either. I tried it after serum’s had dried, using it without serums with and without moisturizer and every time I got little pills all over. It looked ridiculous.There was such a small amount in the tube trying to squeeze it out wasn’t worth it
