To know someone to about good watches
Overall, the Kospet T3 Black is a solid choice for those looking for a rugged smartwatch with advanced features and long battery life

Falsely advertised
Battery life is garbage, it barely lasts a week and I use it lightly, I turned off every thing in the background. Also it is not Kospet, it's some generic chinese brand and nothing on the box nor the watch itself states that it is Kospet.

I had previously bought the Kospet Tank T3 ultra and had a positive experience with it. Consequently, when they announced the new model, I decided to try it out and see if there were improvements. Here are the pros and cons and improvements. Observations: 1. Both models have outstanding hardware. -The screen is bright and clear and readable in sunlight. -The battery life is outstanding: I don't have the always on display turned on, but have a lot of notifications, some alarms and continuous heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure monitoring turned on. I also use the bluetooth calling quite frequently to make and answer phone calls. For the Ultra I routinely get 15 to 20 days before the battery life drops to 25 to 30% and I charge it again. The Ultra 2 battery is at 97% today 28 hours after it was charged so it is on track to deliver the same battery life. (Update - it is at 90% now after 3 days) -Bluetooth calling works well: the audio is clear on both sides and I can manage to do a call while walking home from work or in other settings - Resting heart rate: on Ultra it matched my polar chest strap exactly. Only ultra 2 it is almost 5 points higher Exercise Heart rate: on Ultra it generated some very high numbers that were unrealistic. Ultra 2 seems to have fixed this, but for both the time patterns and the values are noisy compared to a Polar chest strap. I think Kospet still needs to improve their smoothing algorithm for the raw data that is coming in to get better heart rate estimates. - Blood Oxygen seems to work on both Ultra and Ultra 2matching other devices althought sometimes it generates a ridiculous number - Blood Pressure: On both Ultra and Ultra 2 the numbers do not match a cuff device. It is possible that the departures from the average true value are similar but it is not easy to assess this. Other watches allow a manual calibration by allowing the user to enter and store the value from a blood pressure device and then calibrating to those numbers. I get very good results from watches (e.g., E500) that have this feature - after sufficient data has been added. Kospet needs to upgrade the software to add this feature. Notifications: generally seem to work from most apps, but are not always coming through for Samsung messages. Also I get things lie 5 messages from yahoo mail but no details. The message length is also limited, which is ok. This is still an area where improvements will be welcome. GPS: works very well on both Ultra and Ultra 2 Exercises: Large choice and some are auto detected but I have turned this off. Mostly useful to track heart rate, but since that is not very accurate until they improve the algorithm, I have the auto feature turned off. I think the heart rate/exercise numbers are probably ok for comparison of what you did from day to day, but they will not match a professional sensor. Watch Faces; My favorite watch face on the ultra had a call and a notification button, so you could quickly get to these functions and the other metrics were nicely and clearly displayed. Apparently this has been removed for Ultra 2. I communicated with Kospet and they will look into making it available but it was surprising that they took the most useful watchface and removed it. I think all the ones they have now are not active - i.e. there is nothing you can touch on the screen to activate a function. Perhaps that was the design choice, but it is not a good one. They were responsive with updates on Ultra so we will see if that happens on Ultra 2. Alarms: The alarms are loud and audio -- that is good, but a vibration (strong) only option would be good to have too so others are not bothered. This is a feature they need to add. The notifications have a vibration feature, but even at the "strong" option it is hard to feel in Ultra 2. It was stronger in Ultra. Third party connections: Only STrave is offered. Others offered Google Fit etc. Voice Assistant: I have never been able to make it work on Ultra or Ultra 2 - you click the "Tap the screen to speak" and it starts a 6 second countdown, but nothing happens when you speak - you are back to "Tap the screen to speak", so this function does not seem to exist. In summary, compared to other similarly priced watches, hardware seems excellent, software is similar - health metrics are not as accurate as one would like, features work well

As a proud owner of the KOSPET TANK T3, I can’t help but share my enthusiasm for this rugged smartwatch. Let’s dive into why it stands out: Metallic Marvel: The all-metal body feels substantial yet sleek. The upgrade from plastic to metal is a genius move by Kospet—no more fiddling with tiny screws or worrying about dirt sneaking in. Comfortable Silicone Strap: The T3’s silicone strap strikes a balance between practicality and comfort. It adapts to your wrist like a second skin, with no pinching or discomfort. While I’m partial to the metal stainless steel strap (available separately), the default silicone strap holds its own. It’s durable, sweat-resistant, and easy to clean—perfect for gym use. Impressive Battery Life: With up to 15 days of battery life, you won’t need to charge your watch every night like with Samsung or Apple watches. I tested it with the “Always-on-display” feature on, and it lasted about five days before needing a recharge. Keep in mind that battery life may vary based on display configuration and usage. Vibrant AMOLED Display: The AMOLED display is a visual treat—crisp, vibrant, and customizable with a gallery of watch faces. The “Always-on-display” feature now offers more options, allowing you to fade out the color from the main watch face and switch to a black-and-white simplified version. Health Features: As a doctor, I appreciate the health monitoring capabilities. Blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation are all included. While wrist BP measurements aren’t as precise as elbow measurements, they provide a handy ballpark figure. Playful Animated Menus: Who knew menus could be fun? The T3’s animated menu adds a touch of playfulness—it’s like your watch saying, “Let’s explore!” Stress and Mood Tracking: Beyond the basics, the T3 tracks stress and mood. After all, wellness isn’t just about numbers—it’s about how we feel. Ideal Gift: The T3’s quality, features, and competitive price make it an excellent gift choice. Whether for an adventure-loving friend or a health-conscious family member, it’s a winner. In summary, the KOSPET TANK T3 is my trusty sidekick. And to the Kospet team: Kudos! Keep innovating. 🌟👍

I've been interested in a smart watch but didn't want to pay the price of a big name brand. Turns out this was a great fit for me. I used it about half the day for 5 days and it's still 52% charged so the battery life is decent. The watch band is nice and flexible but I do take it off when I'm at the computer for long periods of time so I might try to purchase the metal band like my traditional watch. It did take me a while to setup, likely since this is my first smart watch. Signing up for an account gave me some odd error so I choose to just skip that which I prefer anyways. I was able to easily pair the watch to my smart phone. Then selected to get notifications from SMS, Phone calls, and specific apps. I found I didn't like many notifications so limited those. It vibrates with notifications and the bluetooth functions worked great for picking up and making calls. The health data works but doesn't appear to sync with my samsung health data so both track my steps. I did not wear it to sleep to test sleep tracking. I never could get the voice assistant to work with google assistant, on my samsung phone it keep pulling up bixby. But the alarms work, music controls work, stopwatch, calculator, and remote shutter were all helpful. Flashlight feature was interesting. My favorite was the ability to find my phone from the watch and visa versa to find my watch from the phone. I did try a few custom watch faces which was great since it's a lot of data on one screen and the always on feature was pretty cool to keep the time while charging. The only major issue I had was the weather data often gets polled from other cities with similar names but that software can be improved. The build quality is great. This is the tougher build version so I did wear it while working in the yard. Bumped into a few things but no obvious scratches on the screen or metal surround. It does measure 14mm deep, 42mm wide (not including buttons), and 49mm long (52mm including watch band clips). Seemed to have no trouble with water although I did not try swimming. Overall I'm happy, glad to be more technology connected at a price I still enjoy.
