Glytone Micro Peel Tranexamide Discoloration Treatment Serum 30ml

Este producto es muy TOP. Los ácidos realmente actúan contra las manchas (melasma activo). La importancia es la consistencia, lo uso TODOS los días como parte de mi rutina en la mañana. Después de 1 mes de uso las manchas están atenuadas, esta condición es dura y más viviendo en una isla tropical donde el sol está al 100 todos los días, aún en invierno. El producto realmente funciona y el filtro solar que NUNCA puede faltar.

Doesn’t work

I was very enthusiastic when I chose this TranEXamide Micro-Peel Serum from Glytone. Mainly because I have dark spots from sun exposure and a few pock marks that I was hoping this product could help with. In order to ascertain the effectiveness of this serum I stopped using all my usual skin care products at bedtime, except for this one. It has been a week now and I can't say that I notice any difference, significant or otherwise. Of course I am aware that any benefits to be derived from this serum take time, but since I've been using it my skin is pinker and a bit flaky in appearance when I wake up. It's pleasant enough to use, the serum is yellowish in color, odorless and feels thick and oily on my skin. The serum will mostly absorb given enough time, but does leave a tacky residue. Normally since I have very dry skin, I stay away from drying ingredients like glycolic acid but I had hoped that this formulation would contain enough hydrating / soothing ingredients to balance out the acids. Sadly, it does not and my skin is not liking it. I honestly am wondering about the potency of this product. The packaging was intact but the bottle was leaking serum when I received it and there is no expiration date anywhere. When I put it on my upper lip by my nostrils it should sting because I have allergies and blow my nose constantly (so it's tender)... But there is no tingling or burning at all which is why I think the serum might be old. So disappointing, especially considering that this micro-peel serum is selling for $71.33, for that price I expected better, much better.

I have been using this a little over a month. I have noticed a slight change in my skin discoloration. It has improved and I’m happy with the results. I use it consistently, I have incorporated it into my nightly routine - I am looking forward to seeing more improvements with my consistent use. It has certainly made my skin smoother and softer.
