useless product, very disappointing and intentionally misleading description
WAY too small, by 50%, because YOU RECEIVE ONLY ONE SHOELACE! The text on the page where you add the item to the cart very clearly says stretch shoelaceS (plural) indicating that you are ordering a pair of shoelaces, but for $9.99 you receive only A SINGLE SHOELACE, which is obviously unusable. I found the text intentionally misleading. If you read the smaller type, after you have placed the "shoelaces" in your cart, it says shoelace in one location and this is very easy to miss. I bought the "shoelaces" in three colors and opened the individual packages after having traveled to bring the "shoelaces" to someone who can no longer tie his shoes and it was a wasted effort. One star is way too generous.

Love these laces!
I am disabled as the result of having a stroke. Among the many problems I have now, one of the most difficult problems to adapt to is I can no longer use my right hand. I had a friend tie these one time only for me and I am able to slip them off and on now without difficulty. I usually do not offer up a review because of my stroke. It is too difficult. You wouldn't believe to number of times I have had to hit the "Backspace" to correct my own words. I am enjoying these laces so much however that I had to share this time.

LOVED IT - fun while it lasted.
This is just what I was hoping for when I ordered it. I recently got my kindergartener a new pair of shoes. Somehow between the last pair and this pair, he has completely forgotten how to tie shoes. Seriously. There was no convincing him that shoelaces worked the exact same on every single pair of shoes EVER. I was being asked at least half a dozen times a day to tie his shoes for him. When these arrived, the side of the box read "In doubt, or between sizes? Size down." Crap. Baby boy was right on the cusp and I'd ordered the bigger size. However, when I compared the old laces to the new, they were the exact same size. I will say they are pretty long, so you might be better off sizing down as suggested. These new laces work as advertised. It only takes a few minutes of adjusting to get them comfortable for your feet, then tie them and you're done. My only complaint is that they suggest a reef or square knot, and they don't have instructions or even a link to a video on their website. (YouTube to the rescue.) My kindergartener is happier with his independence, and I'm so glad I'm not tying shoes all day long!ETA: Well, these were fun while they lasted (first photo). All four days. Guess we are going back to much more durable regular laces. 🤦♀️ETA: The seller/manufacturer of these laces reads reviews! I was contacted via email within 48 hours of my review. In part, it read, "I actually developed these for my 3 sons, so nobody knows better than me what you are going through with your Kindergarten son! We have also tested these out on other children (neighbors, friends, etc.) and we tested them for almost a full year before actually selling them. What I've found is that the fit really does matter, especially with the kiddos because they are very active. If the lace is flopping around they have a tendency to tear and break depending on the level of activity. I see these types of breaks only with kids and only if the fit is too long." So apparently, SIZE DOWN is the name of the game. She sent me not only a set of smaller replacement laces, but two extras (just in case) and a HANDWRITTEN note. Hand. Written. Color me impressed! What great customer service! We put the size small laces into my son's shoes, and the "bunny ears" were much more compact, even before double knotting. (See second photo.) I really wish I could say that these solved the problem, but we had another break on day 3. I really, really, really wanted these to work. I love the aesthetic (most elastic laces are ugly), and I really love the friendliness of the company. Unfortunately, with a super active 6YO who refuses to stop and retie his shoes when they come undone (and they do), these just did not last. I think this is a great product, and I'm sure it would work fine for my older, more careful kids, but this just didn't work for the baby.

Silly as it sounds - A Real Life Changer!
My husband (61) recently had a stroke. He is too young to be so dependent in so many areas of self care. I need to help him with so much, and he is coming along nicely with his rehabilitation. But not being able to completely dress himself was so discouraging. Then I found out about your stretch laces. What a difference it has made. I laced his sneakers, tied them up once, and I'm done! Now he can easily put on his sneakers himself, and can regain some of his independence.Plus they look and feel like regular laces. So no one will ever know his secret! What a terrific product. They would be helpful for anyone with any fine motor loss or arthritis in their hands. As a Geriatric Care Manager I intend to recommend these to my clients and their families. My only problem is that my husband won't give up his shoes for me to take along to show others (LOL)Thank you for a great product!Randi Rubin

Great Colors and Promote Safety
I bought a pair of Timberland athletic shoes when I was traveling in Ireland. Their laces were extremely long. Although I tied them, twice, I ended up tripping on them and ended up in the hospital. Luckily, my injuries healed, but I was reluctant to wear the shoes. I almost gave them away!I found these laces and thought I would give them a try. I wasn't sure what size to select. I used dental floss to measure so my laces would not be too long, again. These laces are the perfect size and do not come undone once they are tied. I am thrilled and can now wear my shoes with confidence!! I am purchasing additional laces for replacements.

Good Product, but (45") too large for some shoe applications...
So far so good ... bought these to keep tied on my shoes. My only complaint, (besides the price/shipping costs for shoelaces), is that low-top "sneakers" usually have 5-6 laces-up holes, (x2 counting each side). I have found that the sixth hole, (on these type of shoes), is hardly ever usable/or desirable when lacing up, therefore 45" laces become too long for “five-hole” lace-ups. If 39" laces had been available, I would have ordered them. While these stay tied most of the time, (compared to regular shoelaces), the resulting big/excessive “tie-loops”, (of a five-hole lace-up), often snag on things and therefore can/will/do come unlaced. Quality and usefulness of this product, however, is otherwise very good..

Gran diferencia

Not good for high back boots
My husband asked me to order these for him. When they arrived he put them in a pair of high back boot shoes and he had trouble getting them on. Because I'm sure these elastic shoelaces are for shoes and not boots I wasn't surprised that they didn't work out for him. I'm sure they would work better in a flat shoe.
