Watch Band Nylon One Piece Wrap Sport Strap Black Adjustable Hook and Loop 18 millimeter

The watch band is well made, attractive as a sport band, and well priced. I took a chance and ordered two and am very satisfied with them. The 18mm dimension refers to the mounting lugs of the watch, which the attachment strap is sized to fit. The watch band, itself, is 25mm wide. The length information in the description is incorrect. The minimum wrist circumference it will fit is 7" rather than 6" (the construction prevents it from going smaller than that). However, for a wrist less than 8", a portion of the end of the strap will be beyond the velcro attachment and just lay on the decorative leather square. In that case, it's possible that it could catch on things or get bent and stick out. The strap could be trimmed, but you would want to stitch or glue the cut end so the layers don't separate. Realistically, if you have a small wrist (less than 8" around), just pick a different band (many nice bands have comments that they were too small, which would be what to look for if you have a small wrist).

Not sure what is with the negative reviews. Came in a nice package with instructions on how to install.Compared with my other watch bands this is the most comfortable by far. Needs to be broken in still, but as far as quality and stitching goes it is very good.It took me less than 30 seconds to install, so other people bitching in their reviews either don't know what they are doing, or are having a bad day.If the size is too big you can always customize it by using some scissors, and at this price point I am satisfied, and love the style compared to cheaper/more expensive brands out there.

The spring bars that were included with the sports band were not long enough. :-( Thus, I had to purchase two properly lengthed spring bars at a store nearby. Very inconvenient.

I've purchased 2 of these bands. They last on average 3 years of daily rigorous use (as opposed to the cheap original band which didn't last a year). The only fault is the plastic ribbed surface on the tongue. It cracks and falls apart around one year of use. I have just ripped it off and continue to use the band without it. It leave the end weaker, and the final failure is from fraying and ripping of this unreinforced piece of hook material (of the hook-and-loop). It would be perfect if they just used some more nylon webbing instead of the plastic ribbed laminate. Also, the pins that come with it are pretty light-weight. I purchased heavier duty ones for $6 (1.8 mm diameter).

Too long for my 6.5 inch wrist. Simple enough to install if you know your way around a springbar tool. Velcro feels very sticky and secure. Don't bother purchasing if your wrist is under 7 inches. I'm returning as I have no desire to cut and stitch the hook part of the strap to remove the 1/2 inch excess.

could not find a band to fit a simple timex watch.I beat up my watches and bands in constuction work,so i like the adjustable velcro concept but i had to do some constructive altering to make the band fit my my lowly but rugged timex

spring pins are difficult to install

If I'd wanted a plastic watch band I would have bought one. One end is about 4 inches of plastic. On the backside of this is half of the "hook and loop" (aka Velcro). When I strapped this on my wrist I realized the watch, itself, would abut the plastic, meaning that one side of my wrist would show plastic, the other side nylon. What's even worse is that the plastic piece isn't even as wide as the nylon. This was returned.
