Cooks great and easy to use
This is a great air fryer/oven. I had a Cusinart and it was great, but wanted something a bit bigger to fit larger pans. This works great, and I like the different rack levels and it is very, very easy to use. It does get hot, but it is an oven and it is a bit louder, but not crazy loud. I had the Ninja small product that folds back originally and loved it but it was shallow. Ninja makes great products, I have the Ninja Kitchen system blender/food processor, excellent.

Fast, versatile, and big
Great toaster oven. We use it to reheat leftovers, air fry, toast bagels, even cook a 10 lb turkey. It’s fast, versatile, and easy to use. I will say it’s only OK at toasting bread and bagels - we bought a cheap slim pop-up toaster to supplement it.

Many uses
So far so good. Bakes well. Air fry very well. Big enough to do a lot in. It does take a lot of counter space. It’s quiet. Easy to use. Has many functions. Heats up quick. Efficient.

Love this little oven
I went Carnivore some time ago and this little over is the BEST thing I have ever purchased. It does EVERYTHING. The menu is on the handle of the oven which I think is brilliant. It has very simple buttons that allow you to scroll through temp, time, and how you want to cook, bake, airfry, dehydrate, toast, etc...The light lights the entire over and stays on for a good long time making it nice if you are baking something you want to keep an eye on. It cooks FAST-often takes less time than various food packages state for airfryers/ovens. I have not had anything burn yet-and if you are a fan of making homemade hotwings or drumsticks, this little oven is great for that. It is big-but big in a compact good way. There is a lot of space inside this oven and it comes with two racks, a fryer basket, pan/roasting tray-I don't use the non stick pans it came with as I don't trust non-stick coating in general and I purchased other pans on amazon to use with it. There are some great stainless steel pans and pizza pans available that work just fine, like Deedro 12x10x1 baking sheets w/racks and Deedro 10 inch pizza pans. I have used a standard loaf pan, 8x10 pan, and a 9x13 pan inside it just fine. The menu on the handle tells you which level to cook on based on your selections and inside the oven on the right, the level numbers are impressed in the metal for reference. I DO recommend you clean it as you use it-don't let anything build up. Also, make sure you have enough counter space with a bit of a gap in the back, as this oven vents from behind. I have not used the included meat/temp probe yet, but have had great results all around. Love it.

I bought second one again - good quality, nice user interface and a known problem
This is my second DT201. I like the interior oven size, large glass window, and ability to bake, dry, toast and fry in quantities smaller than a large oven you usually have. It is better, faster and more economical for a small family. And it looks modern on kitchen counter. On positive features - it has a nice and simple user interface with all buttons and display located in the handle. It has electronic temperature control - one can set temperature to desired level. The heating elements are enclosed in quartz tubes - providing longevity and good radiation heating for crusts. Its centrifugal airfry fan is located on the back of the cavity and is made of metal. One can cover lower pan with aluminum foil and that will simplify cleaning. All these features were decision factors for buying this one after comparing with others. On the negative side - the manufacturer used tactile switches that are not rated for high temperature and put them in hot spot. That is why the first failing was start button, followed by other buttons after 6 months of use on my first DT201. I replaced the switches with reliable ones and posted the detailed how-to video on YouTube. It is rather difficult, but despite that, we decided to buy the same model again in assumption that we may have to fix the same with this one when it fails.

Easy to follow all options. Great visibility while cooking and ease of reading directions on handle
So many choices and yet uncomplicated. Directions straightforward does a fabulous job on air fry, reheating, and baking . I just got it 3 days ago and love it already. Always Ninja fan but this is a wonderful addition to kitchen living in SW Fl like to keep kitchen cooler and not use conventional oven as much. This Ninja fits the bill. Recipe book gives great ideas and again very concise and easy to follow. My biggest compliment is FINALLY an appliance easy to read if I don’t have glasses handy!

My Husband won't let me use it!!! :)
My husband has a serious man crush on this oven. It cooks very quickly. Dehydrates and Air Frys. We have had it about a week and he has used it almost every day. He cooked our Thanksgiving turkey in it today using the thermometer to reach 165deg. Moist, tender. Better than mine in a big oven and took way less time. It preheats in seconds. The only drawback is how deep it is. You can def get an xlarge pizza in this thing, but it takes up the full countertop depth. So far we are very happy with it. I've had a Ninja blender since they first came out and a Ninja Creami for 4 years. I like this brand. Interior cavity measurements are 14" wide x 11.5" deep x 9.8" tall.

Great while it works, but it's an "unfixable box" once it breaks
The Reality Check: I’ve owned the Ninja Foodi DT201 for exactly two years. While it was functioning, it was a fantastic appliance—it looks very cool on the counter, does its job perfectly, and handled everything I threw at it. However, you need to know exactly what you are getting into before you spend the money. The Failure Point: Right after the two-year mark, the unit died. Since it was out of warranty, I went into "data scientist mode" and disassembled the unit myself in hopes of a repair. What I found is that this is essentially an unfixable box. Key Takeaways: Non-Repairable Design: Even with the unit opened up, the internal layout and components make it nearly impossible to fix. It is designed to be replaced, not repaired. Short Lifespan: For a high-priced appliance, lasting only two years is a tough pill to swallow. Warranty Trap: It failed almost immediately after the manufacturer coverage ended. Final Verdict: Just a heads-up to anyone looking at this: Expect to replace it. It’s a sleek, high-performing machine, but if anything breaks, don't count on fixing it. You’ll be heading back to the store for a new one. It’s a great appliance while it’s alive, but it's a "throwaway" at a premium price point.
