Good last resort mini surivial tool box
Good range of tools when out on a long or epic ride when down with a mechanical. Nice option to mount it directly on the bike.

Great Tool Kit
This is a great bike tool kit, I was so impressed that I purchased a second one for my other bike, great value & good quality. Highly Recommended ……..

Good tools: rubbish box
Good compact selection of bike tools that I have in my top bar bag for every ride. Great tools and used em all in past 4 months. However the box is rubbish! Plastic lugs holding tools in place started to snap off on first use. All lugs broken within 6 weeks and the tools rattle around inside the box. Now the plastic hinge has broken so I need two elastic bands to hold the box together! Bit of a shame really. Can I get a new box please?

Absolute cheap rubbish. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
Tyre levers snapped first time I needed to use them. All the dividers inside to keep the tools in place have broken so all the tools fall out when you open the case. Not great in long grass or gravel. They dividers havent broken through use. I have only previously opened the case to have a look. The plastic is very cheap and nasty and is extremely brittle. It should be polycarbonate or glass reinforced plastic, not this Christmas cracker quality rubbish. All the tools seem to be designed by someone who has no previous experience of doing anything other than sitting at a desk fiddling around in a CAD program. Why the **** would anyone think that designing Allen keys this way would be a good idea. Why have the larger size on the longest end of the key?! Just why?The spoke key fits none of my six bikes. This tool is complete and absolute junk. It is flawed at every single level. Honestly, I do not think I have ever seen a cycling product that is worse than this. Seriously.Spend your money elsewhere. This is an absolute turd of a product.

Compact, lightweight great little toolkit.
This wee kit is great, it can mount directly on the saddle post but I keep mine in my saddle bag. Great range of compact essential tools and spaces for some spares (quick links, patches). Used it many times since purchasing about 6 wks ago. Could be a bit tricky to get some bits out with cold hands is the only downside for me.

Perfect for a touring bike
If you prefer separate tools rather than a multi tool, there's not much out there for you. This was one of Topeak's first innovative products. Earlier variant had a mini tube of rubber glue and patches, which i think is better if you have the patience to do it properly. Cyclists tend to go for multi tools for lighter weight and because they would rather put a fresh inner tube in than repair by the side of the road. Also having stuff attached to your bike is more likely to get stolen. For a touring bike or people that think a saddlebag looks naff, it's ideal. Personally, for storing tools on a bike, Pedro's Tulio QR multitool has replaced this for a daily ride, but i'll be taking the survival gear box when camping
