The best iron I’ve used in a long time

PRITECH Professional Hair StraightenerI don't use a straightener on a regular basis, but I do straighten it on special ocassions from time to time. I started off using a straightening brush on my wet hair. I followed after with this flat iron, and I have very thick, long, curly hair. I was actually impressed with this flat iron. It was easy to use. You touch the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on, and then adjust to the correct temp. I let it warm up for about 5 minutes and it was warm already. I only almost burned myself once, and I'm not super coordinated with these things. It also features a cool tip on the other end of the plate in order to hold it closed to help go down the hair shaft. There were a couple of places I had to go over more than once, but for the most part it worked for me on the first try. All I used was a thermal protectant spray and the straightening brush before hand. I'm definitely very happy with this purchase. It's easy to use and fast. The only thing I didn't get was something to tie the chord up with, it would be nice to have a piece of velcro to roll it up with. Not the end of the world though. I'm docking one star just for that and because my other straightening iron has a lock to keep it closed as it warms up, and a safety feature like that would be nice for this flat iron as well, especially if you are around kids.

This straightener was so easy to use. It heated up fairly quickly and multiple options for temperature. It has to be plugged in to work which makes it a little less convenient. It straightened well. I have thick hair and I did need to section it off for it to work, but this is normal with straighteners for me. Overall, a good choice.

Not easy to operate

This is an easy to use straightener that provides a good value. This is a bit of a different hand hold than my old straightener but I still found it easy to use. This did a good job and didn't require me to go over my hair multiple times. I would recommend this for someone needing a budget straightener.

Works well, heats up quickly and gets the job done. I'm not super coordinated with these things and I don't like using them on a regular basis, but for a special occasion it seemed to do pretty good. I would probably get better at it with regular practice, but all I can say for now is that it seems like it did what it was supposed to do.
