Osilly Professional OBD2 Car Scanner Diagnostic Tool, Enhanced V520 Vehicle OBDII/EOBD Check Engine with Read/Erase Fault Code, Auto Code Reader Scanner, Universal for Cars After 1996

I recently purchased the Osilly Professional OBD2 Car Scanner (V520) to diagnose a check engine light on my daughter’s vehicle, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. She has a 2007 VW Jetta 2.5 Wolfsburg Edition. The scanner I use for my GMC doesn’t work on Volkswagen. Volkswagen use a different software. But this Osilly Scanner scan both the Volkswagen Jetta and my GMC Sierra. Pros: ✔ Easy to Use – Just plug it in, and within seconds, it provides clear diagnostic codes with descriptions. No need for an app or Bluetooth connection. ✔ Accurate Readings – It quickly identified my engine issue, and I was able to erase the code after fixing the problem. ✔ Universal Compatibility – Worked flawlessly on my 2007 VW Jetta and a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500. Also used on a 2000 Honda CR-V ✔ Affordable and Reliable – Offers features found in more expensive scanners at a budget-friendly price. Cons: 🔹 Basic Features – It’s great for reading and clearing codes but doesn’t provide in-depth data like advanced scanners. 🔹 Short Cable – A slightly longer cable would make it easier to use in tight spaces. Overall, the Osilly V520 is a fantastic tool for DIY mechanics and car owners looking for a reliable, easy-to-use diagnostic scanner. Perfect size and no more check engine light. Highly recommend

Works great, looks like it will last, connect to OBD port is nice and snug. Has lots of tests and live readings. This is not bluetooth but you get more bang for the buck. Would by this brand and from this seller again

The scanner was easy to use. I was able to unbox it and simply plug it in. Directions for use were included.

This does not work on OBD 1 so it doesn’t help me. I guess the unit is good, but I Get the right adapter to plug into my OBD2. That will read the OBD 1 . The OBD2 that plugged into the harness must be wired to read OBD one code that connection and read the OBD2 wired connection is the wrong connection.

Basic ODB2 reader with good LCD screen. Its in the mid-range on quality, but will make a good backup to my primary reader. The large screen is nice. I am keeping this in the truck for emergencies.

This works wonderfully it was clear to understand where the problem was set off a mis fire in cylinder 3 ND sure as heck the spark plugs was broken and cover in oil. Fixed the problem with out spending thousands at a shop
