Smelled awful as if rancid and had a sticky feel. I am familiar with Banyan Botanicals-Vata Massage Oil and this wasn't anywhere close. No idea what could have happened to the product during shipment, maybe was stored in an overheated storage unit? Maybe ingredients got contaminated? Who knows. Called Banyan Botanicals & they were super quick to respond but I ended returning to Amazon for a prompt credit. Best to order from Banyan or purchase in store.

My second purchase, I am hooked on it now. I mix it with dashmool oil. Scent is definitely hippy dippy yoga but that’s probably right up your alley if you’re thinking of buying this and it *mostly* washes off in the shower. Apply, let soak in for as long as possible then dry brush before a shower or bath. Good stuff.

I’ve used other banyan oils and I was excited this was catered to my dosha type. Use it from head to toe, my skin has never been so smooth!

This stuff doesn’t smell nice at all. It’s mostly sesame oil (first ingredient) and overpowers any other oils in it. Overpriced for what you get - wouldn’t buy it again. Going back to using Soothing Touch Sandalwood, which smells remarkably better and better quality.
