Ohh maaaan! I needed this. :-)))Fair price. Nothing special. Just a really proper scratch of the back. Telescopic handle works (holds its position) and alternate sides of the scratcher make a nice contrast depending on what kind of feel you’re looking for at any given moment.

I like everything about this scratcher. It really helps relieve itching. The handle extends to make it easy to scratch your back, legs, feet, etc.It is washable. It is a good size. It could fit inside a briefcase or medium to big size purse.This scratcher should also be listed under cat supplies. My cat went crazy over this scratcher. She loves it, because it gives her a massage and the spikes don’t pull her hair like some cat brushes do.This is a sturdy scratcher. I highly recommend it.

Not too aggressively abrasive, and light, so easily controlled. Very nice scratcher!

TLDR: good scratcher, 3.5 in toughness / durability, head is good, scratches well, can lacerate if you go nuts / crazy on scratching. overall does jobThe review: this thing would be magical if they put a curve on it like those bamboo / wooden / plastic ones. I used the Bearback one, but that broke after 2 yrs of use, and handle broke further so it got turned into a hair brush.The scratching surface is knobbed plastic, tapered to pointy ends, one side long, other side is short. Good scratching and plastic is hard as hand gun polymer. It can lacerate if one gets crazy or scratches too hard.It extends so you can like scratch your foot while standing up or something. The metal is pretty good, but it tarnishes easy and needs cleaning (daily use, clean about once a month or two) I just use rubbing alcohol and use a bit of mineral oil and extend close it and wipe away the excess.Handle is that hard rubber, so far 2 mo's its holding out (daily use). Works as advertised. The only thing missing is that curved handle baby. To make a curved extension handle would take some thinking and engineering, so maybe they might come out with one, probably not. Any case having two back scratchers on hand is pretty nice.THis also doubles as a good bug smasher, its good vs 3 in roaches, half hand size turbo wolf spider looking thing spiders, 6 in centipedes. Well at least the star tropics area I live in doesn't have super snakes or turbo lizards / monitors or crocs, so can't complain too much.

It came the day after i ordered it and it is 10 times nicer than the old style one that the head just broke off of. It seems sturdy and more substantial than my old one. The cactus points feel good and are not too rough on the skin. I'm really happy i got this.

I was hesitant to buy a telescoping back scratcher because of lots of bad experiences with the head turning when not wanted or not enough pressure because of the bending of the metal. However, this one is made so heavy duty, neither of these are an issue. So nice to have a portable one now and the scratching is perfect!

It was a little harder to use with my arthritis than I thought it should be.

This has been such a great tool for scratching my back that I had to buy another one for my husband so I could get mine back! The 2 different sides are great when you need a little more or a little less scratch ability. The handle is retractable for easy storage and expands to reach every spot.
