adidas Originals Men's Legacy Superstar

I've always like adidas shoes as they offer really good arch support and fit my feet well. For the past few years, I had been buying K-Swiss because they are also very comfortable and I like they way they look. However, most K-Swiss shoes have a foam sole and are a death sentence when walking on any smooth wet surface such as walking into a store from the parking lot after it rains. I decided that I wanted something that did not have a foam sole that I could use as an out and about shoe. The shoes fit well and for me, seem to be true to size. After wearing K-Swiss for a few years, It took me a couple months to get used to the arch support in these shoes. The arch support is not massive, it's just that the K-Swiss shoes have none whatsoever, so going back to something that does took a bit of adjustment. After my feet re-adjusted, these shoes feel great and I can wear them all day with no issues. The shoes have a leather upper which is great for allowing your feet to breathe. I don't have overly sweaty feet, but I notice the difference between leather and synthetic uppers. These shoes allow your feet to keep cool even with heavy activity. The soles are a synthetic rubber which has a ribbed pattern. This provides great traction on smooth to semi rough surfaces, even when wet. The only time I had an issue with traction was climbing an aluminum extension ladder. These shoes need surface area to grip. Climbing a standard folding ladder was no issue since the steps are wider and there is more surface area. As long as adidas keeps producing these shoes, I will probably purchase this exact same pair every few years as they wear out. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I ordered these shoes because they were half the price of all the other Originals I have found. The description says white/iron and in the picture they look black. They were shipped quickly I got the box about 3 or 4 days after my order. The shoes had a dark brown stripe not black. I was a little disappointed but I called and they gave me a full refund for the shoes no questions asked. I have ordered other items from Amazon and have always been very happy with my purchases this was a first that's why I gave them 5 stars. I just wanted the person ordering to know they are brown not black stripes as they look. Thanks!

These are wonderful shoes..I was so happy to finally order a pair. So far they are breaking in comfortably. I decided to by these to dress up with them for Halloween this year. Many folks at our party thought I was dressing up as Run DMC with jogging pants top and these shoes. I really had in mind to dress up as Chris Martin and his Coldplay band mates. The four of them wore black pants and top and these shoes for their 2005 X&Y tour. They are comfortable and legendary shoes. the Super Star 2.0 is a perfect name for them.....they are made of high quality materials with three cool stripes...and come in many colors..check these out!

These shoes need about 40-50 hours of break in time to be comfortable. The first day or two they started to rub a blister on top of my toes because the rubber top of the shoe over the toes is the thing that takes the most time to break in so it starts being more flexible. You can speed this up by massaging around the rubber or bending it about just be careful and don't break anything. After breaking in these shoes are great! They are very high quality and bring me back to the greater times of the '90s and early '00s when not all shoes were made with inferior chinese glue. These shoes got a lot of life in them and I don't expect that anything will be tearing up on it for quite some time. I usually buy shoes that I can wear for a year or so before having to get new ones and this is gonna be one of those pairs I know it.

Since I have gone past my three score and ten years I look for comfort and safety in my shoes and this gives me both. I prefer what I call a court shoethat has a flat sole that gives your shoe a firm grasp and little chance of turning over your ankle like a walking shoe or a fancy high sole.Nice looking and soft leather,good for your daily walk or everyday wear. Buy a half size larger and put in a cushion insole for extra comfort.Reasonable price plus no shipping and for me no sales tax. Delivery was fast. A real winner from Amazon.

I got the white-on-whites. They clean up very easily (soap and water wipe down ... I clean mine almost every time I wear them out) and they were delivered ahead of schedule. They fit true to size, out of the box. I left their knot-behind-the-tongue and wore them straight out of the box with a pair of dark Levis and a white Polo. By the end of the night, I was riding an outdoor elevator up a hill after taking a dip in the Severn River in my boxers surrounded by ladies in bikinis. Buy these shoes.

Ok, after reading posts I was worried these would not fit as my previous ones had. I will say, the only difference I found was where the shoes were made. Store bought ones were made in India. The ones purchased here were made in Indonesia. As for size, they were exactly the same as my store bought ones. Just $20 less.Durability wise, if they don't last two years as the previous ones had I will re-write a review. And yes that is with daily usage, working retail, also wore them into the woods hunting usually about 10 miles a day.

Received my shoes and was SOOOO excited to put them on, I've ordered MANY things from Amazon but this time I'm not sure to be upset with myself or the seller of my shoes. I ordered a size 5.5 because I usually wear size 5 and thought just to be on the safe side order me a half. Well this stupid company sent me a size 6 and didn't realize they were a 6 til I put them on and looked at the tongue of my shoe. I needed these for a certain occasion and got them the day before, so I went ahead and wore them, PO'd - felt like a clown. I guess I cant trust Amazon as much as I did. I'm going to give these away and buy me some more somewhere else but here.
