I bought this to replace... to add to my stainless steal one I bought 20+ yrs in Italy. (We enjoy a few different blends).Well designed, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to see when coffee needs topping up!Too early to say if it will last as long as my original! Probably not as plastics become brittle with time... but hey ho... Che sara', sara'!

Generic use - fail. Specific use - may work. Not recommended
Barely fit for purpose. Coffee grinds get stuck, makes a mess, doesn't fit particularly well.I think the only scenario in which it'll work is if the coffee is very very finely ground, extremely well dried and it happens to perfectly match your moka pot.Returned it, no idea where all these amazing reviews came from, maybe people just use it once and assume perfect. I tried this on 3 different moka pots and 2 types of grind coffee (one Italian, ironically).Nice idea, just simply doesn't work.
