The Body Shop Vitamin E Gel Moisture Cream, 1.7 Oz

Ordered to tide me over until I find a new product given the closing of Body Shop stores. The product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It was exactly as it should be. The Vitamin E Gel Moisturizer is light weight, scentless, and very moisturizing. My favorite Body Shop product and great for use in the summer months.

Choose your vendor carefully. I've bought this a number of times from Amazon marketplace with no trouble, but my most recent purchase, from indianonlineshopping, was not the same formula that I am used to. Normally with this product, I find the scent to be pleasant. However, this latest package I opened, it smelled AWFUL! I started carefully inspecting the jar I'd just used up compared with the new one. First, the one I just got was sealed with a silver strip, which I'd never seen before; the remains of it can be seen in the photos. Second, I noticed that the jar that had the "normal" formula said Made In Germany and the address of The Body Shop was the UK. In the new jar I got, it says Made In UK but the address of The Body Shop was The Netherlands. Also, on the new jar, there was a highlight on the front saying, "with raspberry extract," which I'd never seen before. I guess just like Coca-cola tastes different according to the country you're in, altered to meet local tastes, apparently this gel-cream is made different for different markets. My star rating is for the formula that I can get off the shelf in a Body Shop store and have received in previous Amazon purchases, *not* this repulsive version I just got. Other than this repugnant formulation that I just got and can't even stand to put on my face because it smells so awful, I normally like this product not only for its fragrance but also because it doesn't feel oily on my skin like too many night creams do.

This was not quite what I expected having had Body Shop Vitamin E cream in the past. This was sloppier "cream"--can't think of another way to describe it. It does the job as a moisturizing nighttime cream.

The best ever

We should have taken a picture of where the driver placed our product it was in our bushes he didn’t even ring the doorbell letting us know that it was out there in the bushes not on the porch where they usually put it we are so surprised. The product however is OK - But if the sprinklers had come on in the night it would not of been OK. The product was very hot because it’s been out in the sun in the bushes- If the sprinklers had come on in the night and we haven’t found the package it would have been ruined it was very hot.

I have this on m6 subscribe ab Nd save! I get a jar every month. This cream keeps my face so soft and moist!

Great gel. Glad I could find it.

I was trying the gel creme because I couldn't find the regular creme (The Body Shop went out of business in the US and now it's nye impossible to find any of their products). But this gel creme is pretty bad. The gel is really sticky on your skin/face and doesn't have the same wonderful moisturizing feel as the regular creme. Some may like how this feels, but I don't.

Dieses Gel verklebt die Poren nicht, ich finde es super, auch wird die Haut nicht so fettig

The product quality is different from what the original product is. I bought one from Amazon and my skin did not get the glow that it does with the original product. I bought one from the offline store of Body Shop and it worked brilliantly. Fake product.

Great stuff for combination skin that reacts to everything Doesn’t leave a greasy mess after you put it on and feels soft and moisturizer I found my new face cream !

Le va bien a mi piel, la deja suave, el olor es un poco intenso, pero nada exagerado. La uso por las noches y el resultado en la mañana es satisfactorio. Volvería a comprar.
