Excellent.

When two U-S Supreme Court Justices are assassinated the cops are baffled. Pretty much everyone – lawyers, politicians, journalists, John Q Public (and of course the cops) spin their wheels, kick up dust, but accomplish little beside advancing theories ranging from mild to wild. Now the Pelican Brief is, we know, a John Grisham novel and so it should be no surprise that it takes a young law student to finally puts the pieces together. There are lots of things at play here beyond the standard ‘good versus evil’ shtick. Money, power, corruption and greed are prominent, but all combine to make this a highly enjoyable read.
