Saved the carpet
Simple great fire proof mat. Worth every penny. Does the job of protecting the carpet when opening the fire door to reload mid burn. Added bonus as it's black it gets nice and warm and the dogs like to lay on it.

I was not sure about this but took a chance and very glad I did. It is great for putting on carpet in front of fire when lighting the fire. I thought it a little expensive at first but as it stops sparks hitting the carpet and causing burn marks that would cost a lot to repair I am very glad I bought this mat

Fire proof degraded surface / faulty!
Update: unlike a lot on the market this is actually fireproof which makes it worth the money, much better than having a burn hole in our decking. It’s not that big, I wish they’d done a double sized optionUpdate: I haven’t had chance to use or see whether the Mat keeps embers at bay but over 4 weeks the surface has degraded leaving felt allover the place and I assume no longer protective, I am sending it back. . I only noticed this when I stood on it and ended up with fuzzy felt feet!

Protège efficacement de le chaleur
Au lieu de mettre le tapis au sol, je l'ai punaisé au mur derrière le poêle à bois. Le mur était brûlant auparavant, ce qui n'était pas rassurant... Et depuis plus de soucis. Au premier feu, le tapis dégageait une odeur ce qui était déjà fini au deuxième. Très efficace !

Très déçue
Très déçue par ce tapis que je pensais bien plus épais . Il est en réalité très fin. Le film plastique au dessus rend l’aspect très peu qualitatif. Prends toutes les poussières et fait donc très sale au bout de 24hr.L’ayant ouvert je ne peux pas le rendre, dommage !
