Bonsai Tree, Japanese Maple, 25-30cmTall - Acer Palmatum Deshojo by Bonsai2u

I've got three of these so far, for a forest planting, and they are really good value. The came securely packed, the soil was high grade, the pots are solid and have good drainage, and the trees are nicely grown and in good health. The best mail-order trees I've seen at this price point.

This was a birthday present for my son, looked nice for a few months then leaves dropped off and it died, a year on it is just a dead tree. Complete waste of time and money, dont bother with buying this.

My tree arrived early and was packed well. The tree was of such good quality I have ordered another one straight away.

Looked great when delivered, most of the leaves turned Green within 3 days. If this is something I’ve done wrong I’d appreciate some advice!

It looks nice and cute. Didn’t expect that small but looks nicer than others’ photos. No damage except a dry leaf I found in box. All leaves are red as in pictures with white pot.Only one thing I concerned is the brown edges on the leaves which might be resulted from dehydration. I’ll leave it outside and water it plenty. Hope it will recover soon.Update: After few weeks, the scorched leaves didn’t recover. Some tiny leaves are sprouting but very slow growth. Another thing is that the soil seems to be quite poorly drained so I might need to change the soil if it doesn’t improve in another few weeks.

I'm rather disappointed by this sorry looking bonsai that arrived this morning.Overall it looks to be a beautiful tree and I was really looking forward to its arrival. From all the great pictures and reviews I expected a very nice leafy bonsai, but mine arrived damaged (even though the box was intact) with more branches in the box than on the tree.

Really good Bonsai for price, came earlier than expected and arrived in really good condition
