The wording of the product was extremely misleading. I was under the impression it was a genuine New Zealand product. Nope made in China which makes the authenticity of the wool question. Especially because they did not work.They clogged the lint filter no matter how many times I tried to dry them on their own or with less items. No decrease in dry time, it actually took longer. Plus they started breaking down after 2 cycles in a normal amount of clothes.Extremely disappointing.

I have liked these. I don’t like using dryer sheets because of the chemicals. I tried putting some essential oils on these and the scent just completely dissipates in the drying process. It did not cut down on drying time that I really noticed. It did eliminate static. And it made my clothes less wrinkly when they came out of the dryer. The real trick is to keep up with them and not constantly remove them and dump them into the clean laundry basket with the clothes. They have discolored quite a bit, but to be fair, I regularly dry things that shouldn’t be dried- rocks, candy, Legos, crayons, change, etc. (Boys.)

For the first few uses I was really happy with my wool dryer balls but after about a month of use my clothes are more staticky and wrinkly than ever and the balls leave behind a ton of wool fibers on everything. I have literally had lint roll every item as it comes out of the dryer. The only plus side is they do come in a cute storage bag. I’ll use the bag but am ditching the dryer balls. So sad.

I still notice a static cling on my clothes when I use these, but maybe because I set my clothes to dry for too long. I've definitely used less dry on very heavy loads and had the load still fully dry with no problems. I purchased these for the first time months ago and LOVED them. I just pull my clothes out and throw these back in the dryer for next time. Unfortunately, I forgot them at my old apartment doing this.I ordered two new ones (one for a friend) and the wool pouch changed a bit. Now comes in a leather strap instead of black which I liked better. Unfortunately, something changed about the dryer balls as well because they got lint on EVERYTHING. Sticky, embedded lint. Probably my fault for not washing them first, but the first set I had worked flawlessly with no previous washing. Threw them in the dryer ready to go.Definitely recommend getting some essential oils to go with these for a really nice, light scent on your clothes. I do recommend these, but not sure how well they work for static. I need to wash them for sure because they put off crazy lint onto all my dark clothes this last time. The price is unbeatable and make a great gift for anyone who still uses dryer sheets. They'll love these.

My household REALLY loves these. So much so that we ordered a second set, so we don't have to fish any stragglers out of baskets waiting to be folded or hung. I use these in conjunction with  Vitagoods Cleanuts Organic Laundry Soap Nuts, 300+ loads  (which I also LOVE), which means no artificial, overpowering laundry scents. I'm totally fine with this, but my roommate, on the other hand, really loves the overwhelming smells, so we bought some essential oils, like some others here have mentioned using. While the smell is delightful when the dryer's in use, I don't find that it really stays on the clothing...and this is using 5 drops on all 6 balls. I'll keep trying to find an EO solution that works for scenting things up for my roommate, but I don't personally care about this issue, and it's not a dealbreaker for him, either, as he still very much likes them. He said using them was the first time his sheets and blanket ever dried on one cycle, ever, and it actually stopped a few minutes early.The singular drawback I find to these is the ridiculous carrying case. I have no use for it once they've been delivered, and the ding dang thing just keeps falling behind my dryer...and now I have 2. They just seem incredibly wasteful. Would love for these to have been delivered in a cardboard box I could've just shredded and composted. Oh, and like others have said, the "I love you!" note IS super weird.

This is the 6th time I have bought wool dryer balls in the past few years and have always loved them. The two brands I usually buy were not available and I wanted dark ones, thinking these "organic" ones would be fine. These things are horrible. They did not leave my clothes soft, as all the others have. They have a weird feeling to them, not soft like others. On top of that, I had to wait two weeks for delivery. No where was there any mention that these things were being shipped from China. Will definitely be sending these things back.UPDATE: Even thought I didn't like the product, the company itself is wonderful to work with and very sensitive to their customers needs. Considering the other reviews, I very well may have just had a faulty production batch.

They are well functional, I had no static in my load of clothes. Unfortunately I put them in with some darks, some of my jeans, and they picked up the colors like crazy! Will update in about a month to see if the color goes away or not. (Not new jeans.) stay tuned for more!

The pro is that it DID speed up drying time. Also it does make my clothes feel much softer. Next, the cons. I wanted SO badly for these to be the perfect answer to no more artificial dryer sheets. I tried all 6 at the same time for loads EVERYDAY but still had SOOOOO much static. The noise was intense in my dryer and scared my dogs....even when I only used 2 at a time. Also, it was frustrating pulling clothes out of the dryer and having to search pants legs and sheets for the balls, which constantly got stuck in clothes. Even putting less clothes in the dryer didn't solve the problem of static or the balls getting stuck in clothes. It depends on what's most important to you and if you can deal with the static..... If they at least got out static I could handle the noise and digging in pants legs to locate the balls.

My husband and I both can’t believe the difference these balls make on our clothes. I stopped using dryer sheets years ago when I had my baby, and I wasn’t aware anything else on the market worked without chemicals. I will be purchasing these over and over and telling all my friends about them. My clothes are so soft and static free, plus I use a few drops of my favourite essential oils and now my clothes smell fresh and clean with whatever scent I choose from my EO collection. Awesome purchase.

I bought to replace wool balls that had sadly come to the end of their use. These balls were advertised as 'Amazon choice' and were on sale so I bought them. They were SUPER fuzzy brand new which seemed suspect to me. I followed instructions and washed them first hoping it would help...Nope.Still super fuzzy and leaves fibres on Clothes. Wish there was a 0 star option. Do not waste your money.

....but not sure if it is more the idea of these I like. I certainly don't notice that my drying time has shortened or that the clothes are less staticky. In fact, I'm using dryer sheets again...But they seem well made and come in a cool case and I can pretend I'm doing something environmentally helpful when I hit the start button on my dryer.

Love these! Bought them about 2 months ago and haven't used a dryer sheet since! There is no scent, which is what I like. You can add essential oils to them if you'd like a scent. Impressed that they're still looking great 2 months and loads and loads of laundry later. In case it matters, there are two of us living at my house and three of these balls are enough for the amount of laundry we do (2x a week at most). They do dry everything quicker and bought some for my mom and she loves them too. Definitely something worth buying. Good for the environment and your wallet in the long run😊

I do enjoy using these dryer balls, they do actually work. The one thing I did not is that there is hardly any lint on the lint screen. Which tells me we have no idea the chemicals that were in our clothes with the dryer sheets.
