At the time of this order, I had a mini dachshund who had hurt her back. She subsequently had back surgery and is now at home recovering. Although I'd ordered this for my own personal use, I'm currently using it on her back to aid in the healing process. It has been very simple to use on her. I just drape it over her back. I can't even begin to tell you how great this NIR and IR light device has been. Both of us (me and the dog!) have back problems. This device brings a lot of relief from my back pain and I'm hoping it is doing the same for my little dachshund!

I originally purchased this mat in Dec 2024. After using it for several weeks, I noticed that it didn't always light up and that the plug where it attached to the mat was hot. It was just a couple of days out of the return window, but I went ahead and called Amazon anyway, since the mat has a warranty. They connected me with the seller through messaging, and I was sent a brand new mat. The Amazon rep, Guru, even called me back a few days later to see if my issue was resolved. Rikimxin_Official was easy to work with, especially their rep Liya. Since receiving the new mat, I have noticed that the design has been changed, so maybe they saw this issue and corrected it.Overall, I am very happy with my mat (headed a sprained ankle with it) and very happy with the customer service!

I like this item for the most part but am frustrated with a few things. (My cons towards the bottom.) But they are more of things which irritate me and not actual 'bad' things. I highly recommend this belt!My pros:(1) Option to use a powerbank to allow the user to be mobile. They even added a pocket, on the belt, to put the powerbank into! I've tried this option and love it! So, I know it works well.(2) The heat is very relaxing and does make me feel better no matter where I apply it.(3) Excellent value for the price considering all aspects of this device. The number of lights on it, the overall easy to use controller, the tons of helpful info included in their guidelines booklet, the power alternative option, the pocket on the belt for that powerbank, the long elastic band included that is totally adjustable. And, overall, the entire thing, including even the elastic band, is very comfortable. I have sensitive skin, so this is huge.My only cons are below. And, to be honest, they are more of nitpicking and not brokens or anything. I would still buy this all over again. I did a lot of research and am so happy I picked this one!My cons:(1) The paperwork included is a user manual that is just three pages. It looks like this literature is specific to the belt. Then an 18 page guidelines booklet that is for all their products. Though that isn't obvious at first. Both items contain reference that the user should use protective eyewear, with the guideline book stating the eyewear is included. Just confusing is all. Mine didn't come with protective eyewear but assuming that's because of how the belt is used.(2) It would be helpful if the controller was further away from where it connects to the belt. When I used it on my lower back, it wasn't as easy to access. Or, this could just be me and my wider hips. lol(3) The instructions on how to use the belt (in the short user manual) are not fully clear, though I figured it out. Sort of. The pulse mode? No clue. When I hit the power button twice for flash pulse mode, the display gives this value "10H2". That means nothing to me and isn't referenced in the instructions. But, it seems that this indicates the pulse mode as the device flashes when I set it to that.

I bought this product at the beginning of the year. This product started getting really hot not too long after I ordered it. About 4 months ago, it started smelling like burning plastic. About 3 months ago, it started burning me at that mat’s power site. In fact, I got a blister on my shoulder one day when I wasn’t paying attention. I would fold it over and not lay on that portion to avoid its hot spot. However, a few weeks ago it stopped working altogether. I’d love a replaced but I cannot get in touch with customer support after various tries.

Red light therapy pad is fairly small, just big enough for a leg, arm or the small of your back. You can also use it for your pets. It does not come with any eye protection and no mention of needing to use eye protection. It does have a timer and uses red light, infrared or both but does not have any explanation of the benefits included. It is not rechargeable you have to be close to an outlet or buy your own battery pack. It is a pretty generic pad but does get a little warm if you are not careful. I would also recommend drinking lots of water during or after use. It okay if you want something small and handy.

Seems to work fine but there is no explanation as to the purpose of pulse vs power level.
