This is wall mounted step ladder that is about 4.8 feet tall. It can be used for RV bunk beds, for climbing down from raised platforms, for split level floors, etc.Max load is 330 lbs.This is perfect for matching the decor in my modern industrial loft. Sturdy and built well.

This is a pretty good ladder, it gives an industrial vibe and also has the strength to handle a good deal of weight without issue. This is installed in my tiny house to gain access to the loft and let me assure you that there's been some hands on this bad boy and it has held up well.Now as far as it being used as a fire escape ladder… I can only imagine it would be much quicker to jump the 5 ft then to try and climb this thing down if there is indeed a fire and you do need to escape.With that being said at the price it's great and for a loft or something similar is a great purchase if you need something for a fire escape I would go with one of the 150 ft ladders you can cut to size and roll up.Until We Meet Again-Off The Grid Ken

This versatile metal ladder is surprisingly strong and sturdy. It connects to the wall and also the floor, depending on where you place it. It is wonderful for accessing a bunk bed or loft and can also serve as a safety escape from an egress window. Each piece connects separately, so you can make this unit shorter or add on with another unit. It has a durable feel and is easy to use, with comfortable spacing for each rung. The black pipe style is simple and neutral for any decor. Use it indoors or out. It will basically last forever with its steel pipe construction.

This escape ladder was easy to assemble and it is sturdy. It is just right for a window well escape ladder, that is what I'm using it for. but it could also be used for a bunk bed or it is strong enough to be used on a camper van or RV.

This ladder arrives in a box and is in 2 pieces that you need to slide together. It is very heavy duty feeling and not flimsy. I plan to use this on the wall upstairs for my son to get into his loft bed. This will look very nice there.

A bit too tall for my crawlspace. I had hoped the individual sections were not welded together, giving more flexibility to height.Fairly easy to put together. The two main sections didn't exactly align so needed to forced a bit.Solid material once tightened. Looks good if you're OK with an industrial look.Mounting screws, plastic anchors. I would not use these, especially if mounting into concrete. Looks like drywall screws which are not meant for something like a ladder. For the price they are charging, and to make this a better value, I think they could have included more appropriate mounting screws.I would suggest thin plastic, wood or other relatively inert material as spacers between mounting plates and wall/floor if mounting to concrete, especially if in a basement or other typically damper location. Will help slow down corrosion/rust.

Easy to put together.Very strong and it is heavy duty.I like it a lot.
