Great air fryer: fast heating and easy to use!
I’m really happy with this Philips air fryer. It heats up very quickly and cooks food evenly, making daily meals super convenient. The touchscreen interface is straightforward and easy to use. I didn’t even need to look at the manual for most functions. It is quite easy to clean but just like other air fryer, may need a deep clean from time to time. The 6.2 L capacity is very decent and large enough for everyday cooking for a family or a couple. It fits plenty of fries, wings, or vegetables at once. If you want to roast a whole chicken, it can handle a small to medium one comfortably, but a larger bird might be a tight fit. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It’s efficient, simple to operate, and makes healthier cooking much easier.

Great value, low noise, bakes, roasts, toasts, dehydrated.
This is an upgrade from my original small 2lt Philips air fryer from 6 years ago, it still works but I wanted an air fryer that was large enough to bake cakes in; so when I saw this model on offer I decided to purchase. A solid, not to big, fits into the corner of worktop and quiet. This air fryer has a full range of heat settings up to 200°c. Good depth so large enough to bake cakes as well as cook a small roast dinner. As with my previous Philips air fryer simple to keep clean, in the sink or dish washer if you feel the need. Love that I can just use either my own manual settings or select the preset if I want, but so far not really needed to, but they are numerous and an option if you want to use. When registering product you are encouraged to download the Home ID app, which I found very useful for providing additional recipes that I may not have thought about; again optional but useful.

Beginner Friendly & Ingenious
Really a superb product. Philips has exceeded my expectations with this product, and with it being my first Air Fryer, I was pleasantly surprised to learn how easy it was to both cook with this product and also to clean and maintain it. The setup is simple. Plug it in to the mains and switch it on. The device immediately came to life and allowed me to select my temperature and cooking time. Having not even read the manual yet - just simply guessing at the buttons - I found it irrefutably beginner-friendly. The device itself, the 4.2L edition, fits snugly on my counter without taking up any unnecessary space. The food I cooked was perfect. I followed the instructions for Air Frying on my food's packaging, then checked for consistency once the cooking cycle had completed. Delicious and crispy food was delivered on outcome. It seems to me that the 'plate' the food sits on is well designed, in that, it contains small holes to allow hot air to circulate underneath, around and on top of the food while it cooks - a really clever idea. Needless to say, I blame myself for being so adamant in the past that I would never require an Air Fryer, as it has both improved my quality of food AND created a more efficient cooking environment.

Wait until on offer...
Bought this 6.2l in June it's now September and it's still a great Airfryer. Paid £51 pounds for it as it was on offer. Worth £100? I'd wait if I were you. Lots of space. Could get a whole chicken in there, but haven't tried that yet. The light does go off when cooking after a certain time which is fine with me as you can always turn it on again should you need to, but might irk some people. Relatively easy to clean but I've knocked a star off as you can't just throw it in a sink full of soapy water or dishwasher as water may collect in the viewing window and be problematic to remove. Other than that I'd say its very good. Much prefer this kind of Airfryer compared to the ones with the rotating paddles in the center. Much more room. Two slices of bread fit comfortably inside for lazy cheese on toast. No instruction book but the Phillips app has lots of recipes and a downloadable manual.

crispy delight and effortless cooking
The Philips Air Fryer is a quality appliance that offers great value for money, especially for those seeking healthier cooking options. Its non-stick basket ensures minimal stickiness, making cleaning a breeze, and It cooks food very well, delivering crispy exteriors and tender interiors, thanks to its Rapid Air technology. While it may require some experimentation to perfect cooking times for certain foods, its overall performance and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment for families and individuals alike.

Very good air fryer
Bought it at black friday deal. Perfect price and functions well. Easy to use, short pre heat time, food very crispy. Compact external dimension but the basket is big. A perfect purchase

Good value for money.
Very good piece of equipment! Have used it only a few times (at time of writing) but have been very impressed. Ease of using and cleaning this air fryer is good. So far have cooked chicken strips (like KFC!) and chips. I would recommend this air fryer. Only downside is recipes and info about this cooker from Philips are available only on-line, (app), which I do not do. But there many recipe books and on- line recipes that are helpful.

Very easy to use and cooks food well
Got my dad this as his first air fryer and he uses it for absolutely everything now, he’s truly converted! For a Philips air fryer it seems to be roughly the same size across the models (I’ve got the original one from years back), however this one is so much quieter than the earlier models are - you can hear mine all the way through the house in comparison. The digital dial is very easy to use, press the start button then set your time and temp and press start. Philips have kept the good quality in terms of cooking ability and this one also has an easy access metal tray in the base that pulls out for cleaning. It can be lined with greaseproof paper so cleanup is even easier to sort. The drawer pulls out easy with the large but sturdy handle on the front and it’s a good enough size to feed upto 2 at a time I’d say - so easily enough for my dad. Price point and branding is what made me choose this one and it lived upto the expectations I had for it nicely

Is very good, but I’m not use to the air fryer infact. I cook a lot with the oven and is not the same in general, not with this model. If you like the air fryer sure, this is perfect to you. I will give her few months.
