Fairmount 1" Cap Rod Set 36-72" Black Oil

Everything is good about the rod, little difficult to set up if youre not very handy but works. Does not look so expensive/luxurious as depicted.

When reading the description, "rod and brackets made from steel". I assumed the rod would be steel however it was plastic. The brackets are steel and good quality, its not what I was wanting. It definitely does not have the steel shine the pictures present, it's more of a mate finish. Also there were noticible scratches on the rod as I opened the box.

They feel a little like plastic but are sturdy and clean. I like you can attach from ceiling or wall.

Ordered the 18-36 and the smaller size both products showed up damaged but my husband was able to bend them back to a useable state. I would have sent them back but I waited almost 2 weeks for these to come in for my daughters room it wasn't worth it.
