Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot Eau de Toilette, 3.3 Fl Oz

This was a staple for me late 90s-early 2000s. I got it from an adorable boutique next to my salon I worked. It wasnt overpowering but had a subtle sweet lingering scent. Everyone always comment on it. I moved away and forgot about it once I used my last bottle. I since forgot about it until one day I was on a beauty site and there it was- Comptoir Sud Pacifque Vanilla Abricot. I knew I had to have it! It brought back so many youthful memories and reminded me of a time when I was carefree. Upon arrival, I quickly tried it on and it was just as remembered- a subtle sweetness with a little spicy hint of something different, not overpowering at all. I only gave it 4 stars for longevity simple because it isnt one of those types of fragrance that stays super strong all day, it fades over time but the fading is what I like because it isnt overwhelming and just when you think it is gone, you get a subtle whiff or someone gets close to you and says you smell so good!

I absolutely LOVE this perfume. I have tried almost every vanilla perfume out there and I keep coming back to this one. If you don’t love gourmand scents, this one is not for you. But if you love smelling like a delicious whipped cream cupcake, this is it! The scent does fade fairly quickly but I love catching a secret whiff of it from my clothes or hair when I move. It’s one of those that someone has to be really close to you to smell it on your skin. It’s intimate. But very sweet. A good summer scent.

This is what you wear if you want to smell edible. For a long time I've said my scent goal is to smell like a cupcake. Done!Actual comments I've gotten while wearing this:"It smells like *deep inhale*... I don't know. It smells really good in here.""Does it smell like cookies in here?""*Sniff* Do you smell like vanilla? Yum! You smell like candy!""It smells like Pixie Sticks in here.""Is that vanilla you're wearing?" I responded yes, I found a new vanilla perfume that I'm obsessed with. His response: "Yeah, well I am too, now!"My only note would be that it could last longer. The scent does stick around for hours, but only when you directly sniff your skin. So you and your significant other who gets very close can enjoy it for a while. As far as other people smelling it, it probably only lasts an hour - maybe two. I'm okay with putting on a ton of it and re-applying as needed, but of course that means I'm going to go through it way too fast. Oh well, WORTH IT!

This is one of those scents that has me smelling my wrists when I wear it. I would say it has slightly better than average lasting power and it has just enough umph to be noticable but not overwhelm a room. I wouldn't consider it an everyday or signature scent, but very nice when in the flirty and cutsy mood. If you are not one to like sweet scents, this probably is not the scent for you. It is definitely on the sweeter end of the sweet spectrum. I had no problems with the integrity, packaging or shipping of the probuct.

I love this perfume. Very affordable, and lasts a long time. I get the most compliments when I wear this - some people tell me I smell like brownies or cookies.

I’ve used this perfume for about 20 years & LOVE IT. I get complemented on it almost daily sometimes multiple times in a day. I’ve had people ask what it is and order it on the spot. I have many allergies and am sensitive to most perfumes and this one hasn’t caused any problems. Kids say I smell like cookies or crispy cremes 😂. It’s just the perfect, light, fresh smell!
