Synchros S300 Premium On-Ear Stereo Headphones with Universal Remote, Black/Blue

JBL has created a fantastic set of traveling headphones with the Synchros S300. The sound is top quality. I had been mainly using high end earphones lately, but for extended periods of time, those can be uncomfortable. The S300 has good response across the bass, middle, and high ranges. The sound is very crisp and distinct across several music genres rock, pop, classical, jazz. Although an on-ear design, the cushioning does a good job of blocking external sound, so you have the sense of being in a concert hall. It does not matter how foot the headphones sound if they are uncomfortable. Whereas, I find most on-ear headphones press on my ears and don't fell very good, the S300 feels great! It has the right amount of cushion, and the top band is firm but not crushing. It is adjustable by sliding the top band out of the side pieces. The controller works well for adjusting volume, skipping songs, and taking calls.The S300 comes with a sturdy case, and the earpieces, swivel to the side to fold flat. The Synchros S300 is now my top choice of headphones to use at work and bring on trips.

the plug is to small to use in my bose system on my computer so they just hang never used

Two in a row that failed after three months. I will not buy another pair of these JBL.

The sound quality on these headphones is quite satisfactory, I was worried that I would be missing out on a lot of low end frequency's but they did not disappoint! My only problem is that after wearing them for a long period of time like I do at work my ears begin to hurt but that experience could vary per person.

INITIAL REVIEW: [will post updates] I have to admit I am a JBL fan-boy, rarely does JBL disappoint. I dont use headphones too frequently but will this year on vacation, earbuds are ok but bother my ears after 2 hours. Did not want to spend BIG $$ on BT wireless pair, even JBL did not have a BT pair I felt was a good investment for the amount of time I will use. Did the research and after deliberation went with these. The appear big on the internet but are just the right size for my fairly large 'mellon'. Quality seems very good, and they should b/c these are close to $200 full-retail. They were had for a LOT less; which make it even sweeter that out of the box with no 'burn-in' time they seem to have all the range I like. I usually burn them in non-stop for about 10-15 hours at a mid-level volume before I bother to listen to them/test. I could not wait and listened to a few songs [rock/metal] and I am blown away. Not overly-bass-thuddy and not harsh-tinny either. I cant wait to give them a try after burn-in.

I might have liked these if I had not been sent used headphones without a cord and a case that was well used. Very disappointing!

Excellent! The bass response is superb. Its so good I had to turn the bass boost down on the amp vs using normal speakers. Mids and highs sound extremely good as well. Ear cups are very comfortable, and headband fits well. Not too tight, not too loose. I ordered the universal version (a), but was shipped the iOS version (i). These i version will still work universally! I use these while stationary. If I were using these in a mobile environment, I would have a complaint in that the inline controls are a bit too close to the headphones themselves, literally about 5" away. So you will have to feel for them as they are out of sight. Used universally, they don't apply so it doesn't matter to me.

Great headphones for the price. I have been using them now for about 6 months and absolutely love them. I use them everyday, quality of sound is incredibly, only downside is lack of bass compared to beats but half the price. Good for DJs too, highly recommend.
