PoolCandy Tube Runner - Motorized Inflatable Pool Floats

When I saw this product, I knew it would be a hit with kids...so long as it performed as expected. I took note of the reviews that were less than 5-stars to understand what issues that purchasers experienced. Ensuring that the battery cover was correctly emplaced and removing the batteries after usage seemed to be the best preventive maintenance measures. Doing those things has kept our dinosaur functioning properly. The inflatable is made of good material and all seams are well-sealed. The motor enables 360-degree directional movement. It took a few moments for the kids to manage the steering but that was part of the fun. Every kid who rode the dinosaur had a smile on his/her face that simply wouldn't go away.Every adult in attendance also wanted to have a go at it. The speed is influenced by the weight of the rider, wind, the calmness of the water, and the condition of the batteries. All those variables considered, nobody complained about the speed. No other water toy can match this crazy fun ride-on!

Not worth the money, the main chamber corroded almost immediately, the batteries, even long lasting ones didn’t last long at all and would not stay inflated. Tried to return but since it was past the return window the company did nothing for me! We bought 2 of them, total waste of money.

The flamingo is awesome! I thought I'd be cheap but it's good quality and the motor runs great! I plan on buying a few more!*** Motor stopped working after the second use, batteries leaked rust onto the flamingo. Might be a water logging issue. Either way doesn't work any longer. Flamingo still floats though.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing! My kids love it, and even let me try it out hahahah! So far it doesn’t slow down regardless of how much weight is in it, which is surprising! Very sturdy material, easy set up. Grab yourself some D size batteries! Also the batteries are lasting after several uses; also good news! The cup holder is a fun bonus! 10/10 recommend!

The media could not be loaded. We chose the least expensive motorized float that was on sale because the reviews were not very encouraging and we sure didn’t want to waste a large amount of money. Only the small flamingo was on sale but it happened to fit our theme anyway because we always bring a much larger multi person non motorized flamingo float whose name is FIONA for the adult ladies to ride on together while celebrating a special person who started the PINK FLAMINGO theme. We purchased two flamingos, split the cost and took our chances. These motorized flamingos worked fabulous for everyone and I will say, the adult men got to enjoy them the most!! They both worked very well for the entire 3 full days on the lake. They were a relaxing speed, slow and steady with even with adult men trying to have a fun race. The floats were capable of motoring far out into the lake & made it back home without needing rescue. We thought we would be going through many D cell batteries which could have cost more than the floats but the batteries were only changed once in 3 days giving several hours of continuous use per day & that was a great surprise. The little flamingo was even put inside the hole of the larger flamingo and worked to motorize the multi person flamingo! We were very pleasantly surprised that these flamingo float toys worked better than expected and really added to the enjoyment of our lake vacation! We just may purchase more if we catch a sale again! We were happy big kids!

Love this product BUT the motor crapped out within a few months and I can’t get in touch with the company to replace it.

Very cool product but not worth the money. The seam that holds the seat in let go and now the thing is useless! It was used by my 50Lb grandson. VERY disappointed in the quality, considering the price I could not recommend this product.

My husband put this together in about 10 minutes. Just know that batteries do NOT come with it and it takes 7 D Batteries. Works GREAT in our pool!!! I was driving around on it with my Goldens following me for about an hour then I just lounged in it!! You have to get one!!!!! So much fun!!!
