Great selection of sizes for the price-- certainly more cost effective than buying them individually at a craft store. However, while I've had no problems with the hoops, when you examine them closely you can see some bamboo splinters sticking out on the rough cut edges where the screw is, and it's not the most attractive thing in the world. These are a great option as far as price goes, and they work just fine. But if you are particular about the appearance of the hoops you use (perhaps if you're planning to give a piece as a gift), you might want to use these just for working and find higher quality hoops for final presentation.

The kit is excellent for a first time cross stitcher, like me. Came with several pieces of aida and a nice hoop, plus tons of needles for when you inevitably lose or leave one somewhere. Would recommend to anyone interested in starting this craft as a great beginner kit!

I got into needlework ~1 year ago and finally decided to upgrade from my flimsy plastic hoop because I didn't think the tension was right. These hoops have already proven me right - they are SO much better! They're sturdy and provide the tension necessary for my projects.

Quality cloth and needles. I love the hoop the most by far - probably my favorite hoop to work with. I've used the wooden hoops from craft stores for a long time and this hoop is so much better. The hoop holds the cloth so much better and you can get a tighter strech.

I have purchased other products from Outuxed. The cross stitch kit is wonderful. 5 nice big canvases. Perfect! Will buy again. Always happy with their products.
