Excellent product and easy to use it has 2-way tape just wrap it around tube & cut and DONE!

I slipped an 18" section of the hose over my furnace copper drain tubing to prevent the dripping water from freezing. Temp was 12 degrees the other night; no freezing. The foam insulation did the trick.

I wasn't able to find pipe insulation tubing with 1/4 ID locally to wrap a small 1/4" water copper pipe. I did have to slice it open as the pipe was already installed. At first I tried using a utility knife, but the cut was actually a lot easier and cleaner using just regular scissors. Because i sliced it open, I ended up wrapping it with foil tape so the insulation doesn't end up falling off. Anyway, the quality of foam seems good, just what I expected.

this product should not be advertized as a.c. pipe wrap it is not big enough to cover the pipe as needed luckily i had enough to cover by over wrapping it.

Does not fit 3/8s pipe. I got cheap & tried this on Pex in my basement, it split when trying to put 3/8s pex through it. Going forward I’ll spring for a better protect, you should as well.
